The polls tell me what I already guessed. The Mueller Report gave President Trump a boost.
Although the president is a shoe-in for re-election in 2020, it won’t hurt that Democrats ruined their brand.
I know, the Party of Slavery and Racism ruining their brand makes me laugh too. But these Alinskyites have done a good snow job on America for decades. So when they claimed the Russians compromised Donald Trump, their braindead followers played along.
Then Mueller released his now famous report, exonerating Trump.
Trending: Worst Poll for Democrats in YEARS
Democrats act like they expected a different reaction. After November 8, 2016 Democrats can’t fool me into believing they can be shocked any further. Also, there is the fact that Democrats stacked the deck in their $30 million, two-year witch hunt. So they were privvy to all aspects of the Mueller investigation.
And now the price must be paid.
According to The Hill, President Trump got a boost with Independents:
Pollster Dritan Nesho said in an interview that aired Friday on Hill.TV’s “What America’s Thinking” that there is a shift in independent voters’ views of special counsel Robert Mueller‘s Russia probe.
“Who you see shifting in terms of their opinions are independents,” Nesho, the CEO of HarrisX, told host Jamal Simmons on Wednesday.
“Republicans have largely been consistent in their view of the investigation, considering it to be biased or in many cases, baseless,” he continued.
“Democrats have been very consistent in their view of the investigation, considering it to be absolutely necessary and believing that there was evidence of collusion or obstruction beyond some of the actions that Trump had taken,” he said.
“It’s the independents in the middle that right now are breaking in favor of the president, [and] largely accept [Attorney General William] Barr’s memo and his conclusions,” he said.
Pardon me if I’m not surprised. Add to this my unofficial not-so-shocking theory that Democrats too believe the president.
But if the news is bad for Democrats now, wait until next year. As the Bobby Womack song says, “if you think you’re lonely now, wait until tonight”.
Even CNN recently blamed Obama for the Russian collusion. And we all know democrats think Obama is Jesus reincarnated.
The Mueller report flatly states that Russia began interfering in American democracy in 2014. Over the next couple of years, the effort blossomed into a robust attempt to interfere in our 2016 presidential election. The Obama administration knew this was going on and yet did nothing. In 2016, Obama’s National Security Adviser Susan Rice told her staff to “stand down” and “knock it off” as they drew up plans to “strike back” against the Russians, according to an account from Michael Isikoff and David Corn in their book “Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putin’s War on America and the Election of Donald Trump”.
Obama in Hiding?
Of course, no one has really heard from Obama since the Mueller report came out. The scandal-free President now must hide his face in shame.
Obama’s supporters claim he did stand up to Russia by deploying sanctions after the election to punish them for their actions. But, Obama, according to the Washington Post, “approved a modest package… with economic sanctions so narrowly targeted that even those who helped design them describe their impact as largely symbolic.” In other words, a toothless response to a serious incursion.
But don’t just take my word for it that Obama failed. Congressman Adam Schiff, who disgraced himself in this process by claiming collusion when Mueller found that none exists, once said that “the Obama administration should have done a lot more.” The Washington Post reported that a senior Obama administration official said they “sort of choked” in failing to stop the Russian government’s brazen activities. And Obama’s ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul, said, “The punishment did not fit the crime” about the weak sanctions rolled out after the 2016 election.
Obviously, we know Obama was as crooked as a Clinton. The only real surprise was for CNN to admit it. And when Trump gets yet another boost in ratings, well that’s called adding insult to injury.
