AOC Make MAJOR #MeToo Boo Boo

File this under, “AOC Doesn’t Read for Comprehension”.

Again, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez goes off half-cocked when playing the “feminist card”. In this case, she misgendered the authors of an article.

In the tweet below, a man dared to repost an article from WaPo about Elizabeth Warren working as an attorney and making $675 an hour. So, in the weird world of Leftists, this appears to be a man denigrating a woman for her massive pay.

Andrew Kaczynski tweeted:

While teaching, Elizabeth Warren worked on more than 50 legal matters, charging as much as $675 an hour https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/while-teaching-elizabeth-warren-worked-on-more-than-50-legal-matters-charging-as-much-as-675-an-hour/2019/05/22/9ce56840-7ce0-11e9-8bb7-0fc796cf2ec0_story.html

AOC responded accordingly, tweeting:

BREAKING NEWS: Lady Had A Job, Got Paid More Than Me

Nice work. Now do the amount of Wall Street, Big Pharma, & Fossil Fuel presidential candidates accepted over their careers & how much they’re taking now.

AOC to the rescue.

In typical knee-jerk Leftist fashion, the socialist quickly defended a woman earning a massive amount of money. Somebody must protect the fake Indian cisgender women of the world.

Not the first time AOC got it wrong. For example, PolitiFact reported AOC’s wrongful unemployment claims:

During the interview, Ocasio-Cortez said, “Unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs. Unemployment is low because people are working 60, 70, 80 hours a week and can barely feed their family.” (It’s at about 5:45 in this video.)

This comment drew criticism from a number of right-leaning outlets, including the National ReviewHot AirTownHall.com and Reason.

In our review, we found many reasons why unemployment is low, and not for the overwork that Ocasio-Cortez cited. The biggest factors include strong economic confidence and the long-running economic recovery. (Her campaign did not respond to an inquiry.)

CNN documented AOC’s gross miscalculation on Pentagon spending:

At issue is a December tweet in which Ocasio-Cortez said that $21 trillion in the Pentagon’s financial transactions “could not be traced, documented, or explained” — and noted that such an amount of money could cover two-thirds of the total cost of Medicare for All.

But as The Washington Post’s Fact Checker noted, the $21 trillion claim was quite, well, fuzzy. “It’s unconvincing to try to pass this off as a rhetorical point being misread,” wrote the Fact-Checker in awarding Ocasio-Cortez four Pinocchios. “She cited the $21 trillion figure and said ‘66% of Medicare for All could have been funded already by the Pentagon.’ That’s a direct comparison. It’s badly flawed.”

There are hosts of other AOC “foot in mouth” disease stories. For now, back to the ironies of AOC’s most recent tweet.

First, Kacynski writes for CNN. Thus, his tweet wasn’t meant to hammer Warren for earning massive money. In fact, the article highlighted Warren’s legal career. And based on my read the article conveyed that Warren could hang with the fellas.

Second, two WaPo women wrote the article. Face-palm.

No need to go beyond two examples. Because by now, if AOC had nuts, she would have kicked them herself.

No wonder AOC will be challenged in her next election.
