If you needed a sign that the Trump administration has no fear of the Left, then look no farther than this.
In a recent interaction between Attorney General William Barr asked Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.), Barr asked if Pelosi brought “handcuffs” for him.
The event occurred on Wednesday at the Capitol, where the two met during the National Peace Officers Memorial Service in DC.
Regarding his arrest, Barr referenced Pelosi accusing him of lying to Congress when he provided more details to Congress on the Mueller Report. According to multiple reporters, Barr approached Pelosi and shook her hand before asking the question.
Pelosi supposedly smiled and said the House Sergeant at Arms was present if an arrest was necessary. Barr was said to have laughed and walked away.
Today at a law enforcement ceremony at Capitol:
AG Barr approached Pelosi, shook her hand: "Madam Speaker, did you bring your handcuffs?"
Pelosi smiled and, per a bystander, told Barr the House Sergeant at Arms was there should an arrest be needed. Barr laughed; walked away

I wrote recently that the Democrats’ shift from Trump to Barr as the boogeyman proves Democrats’ desperation.
The idea of jailing the messenger won’t go unnoticed by Americans. Evidently Barr finds the idea laughable, because it is. That hasn’t stopped many Democrats from pressing the talking point of putting Barr behind bars (oh, the irony).
But it’s not just Barr Democrats want arrested.
In pursuit of President Trump’s tax returns, Pelosi threatened to jail Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
“Let me just say that we do have a jail down in the basement of the Capitol,” Pelosi joked. “But if we were arresting all of the people in the administration, we would have an overcrowded jail situation, and I’m not for that.”
Pelosi alluded to the notion that not having Trump’s tax returns is a violations, saying, “there’s a process involved here.”
While Democrats shifted their laser from Trump to Barr, they’ve made a gross miscalculation. Barr skipping the House Judiciary Committee shows his utter contempt for the Democrats. And I believe may be the biggest sign that things in DC have changed for good.
