President Trump uttered the one word that Democrats prayed to Allah they would never hear.
Declassify.
In a memo to Attorney General Bill Barr, the president authorized the AG to declassify documents related to the Russia investigation.
Specifically, the memo grants Barr the authority to “declassify, downgrade, or direct the declassification or downgrading of information or intelligence” related to the Russia probe as he sees fit.
Earlier in the week, the president teased that he might declassify the document. He sent a warning to Democrats to back off their nonsense requests for his personal finances. But like all brain-dead morons, Democrats persisted. So the president gave Democrats what they claimed to want.
Recall when Democrats railed about getting to the truth.
Yet each time a new report was issued, Democrats claimed that revealing the truth would put the FBI and other agencies in danger.
In all honesty, when we got the first installment of the truth, we found that the FBI colluded with media and other Leftists. So Democrats quickly swept these stories out of the news cycle.
Well, as Jack Nicholson said in The Shining, “Here’s JOHNNY!”.
And Johnny is played by AG Barr, and he’s just as demented in his pursuit of the truth.
Barr alluded to investigating whether government agencies improperly surveilled members of the Trump campaign. And in testimony to Congress, he declared that the FBI and other agencies spied on the campaign by using informants and illegal surveillance warrants.
Heard of scope-creep?
That’s the latitude given to Bob Mueller to investigate Trump at the age of 5. And despite scope-creep that took Mueller everywhere except to the real culprits, he found nothing on Trump. This won’t be the case with Barr.
In fact, Barr doesn’t need scope-creep to find the culprits in the worse conspiracy in American history, because Trump’s memo directs the heads of several federal agencies, including the CIA, FBI and State Department, to “promptly” provide assistance and information to Barr to complete his review.
“Today, at the request and recommendation of the Attorney General of the United States, President Donald J. Trump directed the intelligence community to quickly and fully cooperate with the Attorney General’s investigation into surveillance activities during the 2016 Presidential election,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement.
Forget the attacks
Listen to this convoluted reason Congressional Black Circus member Congressman Al Green gave for impeachment:
Shortly thereafter, Green said on national television that the only way for Democrats to beat Trump is to impeach him.
Hard to imagine Green actually admitting that impeachment for any reason is the only hope Democrats have of defeating Trump. But to thyself be true, right.
Further, President Trump recognizes the game.
Understand there will be no impeachment of the president.
Democrats attempt their last ditch efforts at subterfuge. It hasn’t worked, and it won’t work.
