Shocking: Look What $200 Will Buy a Migrant

While liberals are busy criticizing the President for separating “families” at the border, they’re in complete denial of the truth.

These separations often bring safety to the children crossing over.

Recently, two young girls were victimized when smugglers used them as decoys in an effort to push illegals across the border.

The girls, ages 6 and 9, got off easy, compared to what could’ve happened to them. They were simply decoys, spoon-fed to American authorities.

However, more than 20,000 women and children are trafficked into the US each year by crossing the Mexican border.

Sadly, many children are victimized by those bringing them across the border.

I recall a story I wrote last summer. A young girl was brought over by a man claiming to be her father. Sadly, he wasn’t her father at all, and liberal policies aided a child rapist in a brutal crime.

At the time, I wrote:

Ramon Pedro faces a number of charges including rape, forcible sexual penetration, oral copulation, and endangering/causing injury to a child.

For now, Pedro resides at the Fresno County Jail. The $310,000 bond looks good on paper, but it does nothing to restore a child’s innocence.

Trump can improve crime and boost employment. Trump can squash terrorism and improve trade. Still, liberals refuse to admit Trump’s agenda benefits America.

In fact, Democrats prefer to turn this country upside down. They prefer allowing illegal immigrants more rights and privileges than our own citizens hold.

However, the arrest of Ramon Pedro should serve as a reminder that immigration policies exist for the safety of us all.

Ironically, Obama housed many more children in shelters than Trump. In the fiscal year 2013, under the Barack Obama administration, the HHS Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) had as many as 25,000 unaccompanied children in its care across 80 shelters, according to Newsweek.

But for leftists, it’s only offensive if it happens under the Trump Administration.

Loopholes

Unfortunately, the inconsistent enforcement of immigration policies allows loopholes to be exploited. And people like Pedro know exactly how to take advantage of the system.

Recently, a new trend in illegal immigration emerged.

Once smugglers noticed having children decreased the odds of deportation, carrying kids across the border increased by more than 300%.

Trump policies aim to curtail such barbaric practices. Sadly these children are used in human trafficking, prostitution, drug deals, and other horrendous crimes.

When Pedro crossed the Texas border with a young girl, he told authorities she was his daughter. Officials retained the pair but ultimately released them under the agreement that they would show up for their immigration hearing.

Months passed. Pedro maintained custody of the child. All the while, Pedro terrorized her.

After being admitted at the hospital for possible tuberculosis, doctor’s realized the young girl was being raped. And as it turned out, the girl wasn’t even related to Pedro.

I wish I could say these are isolated incidents. But in a new story, we learn just what a migrant can get for under $200.

Rent a Son

A Guatemalan migrant, well aware of the US loopholes, decided to rent a son to make his crossing easier. Apparently, for $130, Maynor Belasquez Molina rented an 8-year-old boy to enter the US as a “family.”

Molina also spent about the same amount of money to buy a fake birth certificate for the child. Then, in February, Molina crossed the border into Arizona as part of a migrant group consisting of approximately 100 people.

As Breitbart elaborates:

[Molina] is not alone in his efforts to cheat the U.S. immigration and asylum system. Since October 1, 2018, Border Patrol officials in the Yuma Sector reported more than 700 fraudulent family cases, the news outlet reported. Some of those alleged fraudulent cases involve a migrant claiming to be an unaccompanied minor when they are actually an adult. Still others involved misrepresenting the relations between two travelers.

In one case, two Mexican men paid $260 for a pair of birth certificates belonging to a Guatemalan man and a Guatemalan minor with the same last name. The pair were eventually found out. And a court sentenced the two men to only 20 days in federal prison, the Tucson news group reported.

No Consequences Equals More Offenses

Sadly, the consequences for creating these “fake families” aren’t very serious. Which is why these problems continues to confront us.

Breitbart continues:

Light sentences seem to follow convictions in these cases so far. The Arizona Daily Star reportedly found only 53 prosecutions for false family claims and 15 cases of adults using fraudulent birth certificates to try and pass as a minor since June 2018. Of those, all but three cases resulted in quick pleas for illegally crossing the border where the migrants received sentences ranging from a few days to about six weeks.

ICE Stepping Up

This is exactly why Trump just appointed Mark Morgan to head up ICE. Morgan might have served under Obama, but he’s backed Trump’s immigration policies from the get go.

Meanwhile, as Breitbart explains,

To combat this problem created by broken asylum laws in the U.S., Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials deployed three teams of HSI special agents to the El Paso Sector to assist U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials in interdiction efforts in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and El Paso, Texas beginning on April 16. The agency deployed three additional teams on April 22 to the Rio Grande Valley, Del Rio, Yuma, and El Centro Borde Patrol Sectors.

“ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) is redirecting resources to the border in response to cases of fake families using forged documents to illegally enter our country and avoid detention. Our highly-skilled teams are working to stop individuals, networks and organizations facilitating child smuggling and document fraud,” ICE Acting Director Matthew Albence said in a written statement. “ICE along with our partners at CBP, remain committed to protecting children by ensuring they are not used as pawns by individuals attempting to gain entry to the U.S. through fraud.”

During 100 interviews conducted in the first two weeks of the operation, agents found possible fraud in 25 percent of the interviews.

“This fraud may include the use of forged birth certificates or other fraudulent documents to establish parentage,” ICE officials stated in a press release on Tuesday. “Forged or other fraudulent documents are also being used by adult illegal aliens to falsely claim they are minors under the age of 18.”

If raped children aren’t enough to show the left how important strict immigration policies are, perhaps it’s time liberals rent our their own children. One hundred and sixty bucks goes a long way in bolstering stupidity.
