Democrats work their tails off trying to stop the Trump Train from rolling through. And when they manage to slow his progress (because they’ll never actually stop him), leftists turn the tables and blame Trump for what isn’t completed.
At any given moment, leftism makes about as much sense as the Tide Pod Challenge. But blaming Trump for the immigration crisis at the Southern Border is a well beyond nonsense. Yet that’s exactly what one of the many Democratic Presidential hopefuls just did.
As the fifth democrat to appear on the Fox & Friends Town Hall, Julian Castro made a lot of bizarre statements. The show tackled abortion, the Steele dossier, Hillary Clinton, and other hot topics like immigration.
First, Castro tried to create a viral moment, asking “what in the hell is wrong with that President?” Of course, we know the answer. Trump won’t play ball with the crooked establishment. For that, Trump is branded public enemy number one on the left.
Then, one audience member told Castro her husband was the victim of identity theft at the hands of an illegal immigrant. Castro seemed unmoved as another asked, “Do you determine the number of people pouring into our country to be a national crisis, and what is the solution?”
And here’s where his leftism took over his brain. According to Castro, the best plan is to decriminalize illegal border crossings. Sadly, he actually said, “those of us in Texas know about the border.”
The pure audacity of this guy is unbelievable. But don’t take my word for it, watch for yourself.
Grass Roots Efforts Prevail
In fact, the people believe in Trump’s vision enough to put their own personal dollars on the line.
In December, we brought you the story of Brian Kolfage. The Florida veteran is a triple amputee. He’s decorated with a purple heart. And he decided to use GoFundMe to go fund the wall.
In just three days, Kolfage had $12M. Then democrats started screaming and crying. They claimed the government couldn’t take money from private citizens to fund public projects, even though the government has in fact done that before.
Did Kolfage tuck his tail between his legs and quit? Of course not. Like Trump, he’s a problem-solver and a deal-maker. Therefore, Kolfage formulated a new plan, with Trump’s support.
The veteran decided to start building the wall. Recently, I checked in Kolfage’s campaign, and I found they’ve raise more than $24 million. And it no longer said “GoFundTheWall.” Instead, it said “We Build the Wall.”
That’s right folks! They’ve already completed the first section they tackled.
Meanwhile, democrats cringe at the thought of stopping illegal entry into the United States. And if you’re wondering why, I’ve got just one word for you: Pelosi.
Democrats Need Illegals
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi admits democrats desperately need illegals to vote. In fact, she urged voters to pass a law allowing non-citizens the full rights of all Americans.
And I quote:
“And these newcomers make America more American. [Therefore] we want them, when they come here, to be fully part of our system. And that means not suppressing the vote of our newcomers to America.”
Then Pelosi pitched the importance of passing H.R. 1, the “For the People Act of 2019.” And she likens the dog sh*t legislation to that of the plight of blacks when Democrats were shooting us with water cannons and German Shepherds.
Pelosi says Democrats now wish “to lay the foundation to pass the Voting Rights Act, strengthened after the actions of the Supreme Court, which significantly weakened it.”
Of course, they’re only taking this action because many illegals were busted after voting for Hillary. And when liberals try this tactic in 2020, they want to decriminalize it.
Undoubtedly Pelosi tipped her hand. Democrats have never wanted border security or comprehensive immigration reform. The only reform they want is open borders. And American citizens should just grin and bear it, just like we did with that piece of sh*t legislation called Obamacare.
At least that’s what Julian Castro hopes we’ll do. But I have a strong suspicion Castro won’t make it past the primary, if he even lasts that long.
