Ominous Warning for the Clintons from NYC

The Clintons are over. Politically done. Fried, fricasseed, KAPUT!

And the signs reveal themselves in interesting ways. For example, the fact that Hillary Clinton won’t run again in 2020. After all, according to Democrats, Clinton is the most qualified person to ever run (and lose twice). The current front-runner admitted this publicly when Obama chose him as his VP.

Yet Hillary Clinton declined to run.

I know that Hillary Clinton currently plots to stay out of prison as the walls are closing in. Nevertheless, that’s never stopped anyone with her political ambitions. The only thing that stops evil egomaniacs like Hillary Clinton is a complete smackdown. More on that in a bit.

And what of the former first black president, namely Bill Clinton? I remember the days when the party sputtered until Bill Clinton. Democrats doted on Bill.

Now he’s roadkill of the #MeToo movement, a relic barely mentioned in political circles. In fact, Bill Clinton is more likely to be mentioned with Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein or some other sexual perv. Fitting.

The Clintons got a clue that they were yesterday’s news when they tried their “Rapist and His Enabler Tour.” The tour kicked off in Vegas, but that location was quickly scratched due to poor ticket sales.

The tour traveled to Canada. At that location, so few Canucks attended, the Clintons skulked out of the country with their egos severely battered. The only thing that saved the tour was the death of Bush 41, and part of me believes the Clintons may have killed the old man just to get the spotlight off them.

Now we have another sign of the Clintons’ demise.

The Washington Examiner explains:

The curtain will be falling early on a Broadway play featuring Bill and Hillary Clinton as the lead characters because of poor ticket sales.

The play, “Hillary and Clinton,” which stars Laurie Metcalf as Hillary Clinton and John Lithgow as Bill Clinton, is set to close on June 23, nearly a month before its previously planned close on July 21, according to Hollywood Reporter.

A production by Scott Rudin, it is set in an alternate universe and is based on imagined interactions between Bill and Hillary Clinton in a New Hampshire hotel during the latter’s unsuccessful 2008 presidential campaign.

If only Hillary Clinton had won, right?

Playwright Scott Rudin bet on the outcome. Because had Clinton won, people would clamor to see this “fake news” version of the Clintons’ life. And you can bet the play would be equated to the white version of “Hamilton.”

Still, the play salvaged some Broadway dignity, as the article explains:

The play cost $4.2 million to produce, and by the time it ends, it will have had 37 preview and 77 regular performances. Despite the poor performance at the box office, the production earned a Tony nomination for Metcalf’s portrayal of the former secretary of state.

As I ponder the plight of this play, a scene from the 1954 movie On the Waterfront comes to mind.

Terry Malloy, played by Marlon Brando says:

“You don’t understand! I coulda had class, I coulda been a contender, I could’ve been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am.”

Pick any city where the Clintons toured and you get thousands of empty seats. Now the state from which Hillary Clinton hails rejects her and her husband.

Whether the Clintons heed it or not, NYC warned the Clintons of things to come. A small sign, perhaps. But add this sign to the list of others, and the Clintons can take off the sunglasses. Their future is not so bright.
