Though they like their taxidermy head of Harvey Weinstein, feminists much prefer trophies of Conservative men.
And that’s just what the #MeToo movement got; another trophy for their Leftist dens.
Amidst allegations that make the hairy underarm crowd proud, President Trump rescinded his nomination of Patrick Shanahan for Secretary of Defense.
Shanahan finds himself in the middle of a messy divorce where abuse allegations emerged. So, according to CNBC,
President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced that he would not nominate acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan to hold the position in a permanent capacity. Army Secretary Mark Esper will become acting defense secretary, Trump said.
The announcement came amid reports that an FBI background check was delaying the nomination process. Earlier on Tuesday, Shanahan released a statement related to a 2010 violent domestic incident involving him and his ex-wife.
Now the new twist to domestic violence, and how men lose no matter what. As it turns out, she hit him.
“I never laid a hand on my then-wife and cooperated fully in a thorough law enforcement investigation that resulted in her being charged with assault against me—charges which I had dropped in the interest of my family,” Shanahan said in a statement provided to USA Today.
Let’s say that what Shanahan claims is true for the moment.
If that’s the case, then this man’s career hit a speed bump and he wasn’t even the aggressor.
Put another way, the only way for this chap to win was to be a woman. If Shanahan were a Lesbian, then no harm no foul.
For me, this would be considered a double-standard. But the Left just chalk it up as a WIN. Another white Republican man taken down, even though he’s the victim of abuse.
Welcome to Leftopia. The society where calling women what they are gets you fired. Or being the victim of domestic abuse by a woman prevents your career ascension. Leftists create societies where truth and justice have no place. All it takes to twist the narrative is a #MeToo hashtag.
