Shocking: CNN Defends Trump in Rapinoe Feud

#TeamKJ, #KevinJackson, #TheBlackSphere

Megan Rapinoe started making headlines when she decided to be the Colin Kaepernick of Women’s Soccer. Then, she turned down a Trump invitation before she ever received one.

Now, even leftists are unimpressed by Rapinoe’s stance against America.

We all know the anchors at CNN love to jab President Trump. Especially Don Lemon. He’s repeatedly made headlines for his Trump attacks over the past three years. In fact, last year Lemon made a huge fool of himself.

As Kevin Jackson wrote:

CNN’S Don Lemon told a New York audience Friday that he has an “obligation” to call President Trump “racist” or “racist-adjacent” during broadcasts because the evidence points to no other alternative.

…I won’t bother to provide evidence against Lemon’s allegations against President Trump. But America knows that Trump is no racist.

What Leftists deem racist has become the fodder of comedians. Things like math, hard work, God, all white people, anybody not for BLM, anybody who dare speak against Obama, and son on.

Here’s what you can count on.

Soon Lemon will no longer speak negatively about the president. Nor will he refer to President Trump as racist. Oh yes, that day cometh soon.

Because if Lemon continues, he will be out of a job.

Now, Jackson’s prediction just came true, thank to Megan Rapinoe.

Trending: Panic Sets in as CNN Ratings Plummet

All this drama started a few weeks ago when Rapinoe told reporters she wouldn’t go to the “f*****g White House.”

As I previously wrote:

Rapinoe is a stand-out player in the world of women’s soccer. In September, 2016, the media coverage surrounding Rapinoe shifted from admiration of her soccer skills to abomination of her political stance. And the soccer league wasn’t too thrilled to have a Kaepernick on their hands.

The NFL lost millions when players started kneeling. The entire season faced boycotting. Thus, the soccer league knew they needed to distance themselves from Rapinoe’s choices.

Sadly, Rapinoe couldn’t even keep her story straight when asked about her ‘protest.’

Rebel Without a Cause

Rapinoe pretends her protest aims to bring social justice issues to light. But she can’t seem to choose a cause to remain dedicated to.

According to the Gateway Pundit:

Radical leftist Megan Rapinoe started kneeling during the national anthem back in 2016. She said it was a protest against white supremacy and in support of black lives matter movement. Rapinoe later said it was a protest against the treatment of gays in the US.

(She should try Iran!)

But today she says her protesting during the anthem is her f*** you to Trump and all of his racism.

So which is it? Does Rapinoe want to protest white supremacy? Is she defending #BlackLivesMatter? Or is this a #GayPride issue? Megan flip-flops ever time she’s asked. And I believe Rapinoe latches on to the hot topic of the day in order to remain relevant.

In fact, that’s exactly why she latched on to Trump. What bigger fodder could she find?

And you can bet Trump weighed in:

Other than the NBA, which now refuses to call owners, owners (please explain that I just got Criminal Justice Reform passed, Black unemployment is at the lowest level in our Country’s history, and the poverty index is also best number EVER), leagues and teams love coming to the White House,’ he continued. ‘I am a big fan of the American Team, and Women’s Soccer, but Megan should WIN first before she TALKS! Finish the job! We haven’t yet invited Megan or the team, but I am now inviting the TEAM, win or lose. Megan should never disrespect our Country, the White House, or our Flag, especially since so much has been done for her & the team. Be proud of the Flag that you wear. The USA is doing GREAT!

And Trump continued to “go high” after the women’s team scored their epic win.

But Rapinoe wasn’t gracious.

And that’s when CNN’s Don Lemon weighed in.

And he was passionate in his defense. According to Breitbart, Lemon said,

“I think he has a right to be upset if someone said that I’m not going to the, you know what, White House,” Lemon said. “He has the right to be upset… And if someone said that about me, I’m not sure I would invite them into the place I was living.”

Now, the question is- will Rapinoe’s bad attitude make or break her? I’m sure Nike is standing on the sidelines with a huge endorsement deal. But they’ve already branded themselves as anti-American with their Kaepernick shenanigans.

So far, anti-Trump sentiments might get a lot of social media attention, but that attention doesn’t convert to dollars, as conservatives tend to use their wallets to express their values more than liberals do.

We saw it happen to Macy’s and Starbucks following the inauguration. Since then, many companies suffered boycotts after they stood for liberal values and debunked conservatives. AirBnB offered to house refugees. Nike insists on supporting Kaepernick. Kellogg pulled advertising from Laura Ingraham, as did TripAdvisor and Wayfair. All these companies were hit with conservative boycotts. And the list goes on and on.

Meanwhile, other big companies benefit from the boost of supporting the President, such as Chik Fil-A, My Pillow, Coors, FedEx, LL Bean and New Balance. In fact, Ace Hardware won back customers after they reversed a decision to pull their advertising from Laura Ingraham. It didn’t take long for Ace to realize the dollars make sense when it comes to politics.

As for Rapinoe, she might have AOC on her side, but I’d consider that a disadvantage if I were her.
