Jessie Smollett isn’t as smart as he thought he was. Smollett botched this hoax from beginning to end.
Smollett never considered police would sniff out the holes in his story. Thus, he never prepared for the evidence gathering that took place.
Even now, Smollett wishes he could lock this information away in his closet of dirty little secrets. Instead, we now see video evidence of those “MAGA hat-wearing white dudes” just before Smollett’s attack.

New video obtained by Fox News appears to show Jussie Smollett and the two Osundairo brothers – whom police insist the actor paid to pretend to beat him – walking around the vicinity of the alleged attack perhaps just minutes before it happened, according to police notes.
The video was obtained from the Chicago Police Department via a Freedom of Information Act request (FOIA).
According to police notes, the surveillance video is likely from between 1:45 a.m. and 2 a.m. on January 29. And appears to show Smollett in the same white, patterned sweater he was later captured wearing by Chicago Police body cameras, when officers entered his apartment to respond to the 911 call about his alleged hate crime.
A portion of the newly released surveillance video shows Smollett walking away from his luxurious Chicago high-rise apartment building. He walks in a calm manner toward the direction of the Subway sandwich shop, where he told police he went. Later, he returned to encounter his alleged attackers. The video also appears to show Smollett releasing a puff or two of smoke, which was noted by investigators in handwritten police documents obtained by Fox News.
The surveillance video also shows Abel and Ola Osundairo walking around the same area near the time of the reported attack. Chicago police and the brothers’ attorney, Gloria Schmidt, told Fox News the two men in hooded sweatshirts seen on the video are the Osundairo brothers.

Kevin Jackson was among the first to declare Smollett’s attack a hoax. It was too fishy from the get-go. Just how many white, MAGA hat-wearing rednecks are big fans of Empire to begin with?
As Jackson penned:
And of all the light-skinned n*ggas in Chicago, does anybody believe that two white MAGA-referencing Trump supporters would be able to spot the “faggot ‘Empire’ n*****”?
If you want to suspend belief for a moment, you would need to admit to knowing the light-skinned brother from the show. And then you need to know he plays a “faggot”; his word, not mine.
If these white guys attacked every black dude playing a gay role, they would have a full time LGBTQ ass-kicking job. Because in dang near any big city, 80 percent of black guys are gay these days.
But as we clearly see, there’s nothing white about these attackers.
Just watch as new footage blows Smollett’s story out of the water.
At one point in the video, we see one of the brothers wearing a red-brimmed hat. Police notes indicate that surveillance video from a hardware store appears to show the brothers purchasing the red-brimmed hat, along with thin white rope and other supplies they claim Smollett instructed them to buy for the alleged hoax.
“Two subjects now known to be [redacted] and [redacted] enter the store and purchase several items, which included gloves, face masks and a red hat,” Chicago police notes read.
The red-brimmed hat was also documented in a detective’s notes of surveillance video, “they linger together, walk SB out of view [one wearing a red brim cap].”
Schmidt believes the new video shows the brothers arriving early before the incident that police say was a staged attack. In the video, the brothers are seen sitting near a bench, which is where Schmidt said the brothers were instructed to base themselves.
Immediately following this ‘attack,’ people accused Jackson and other nay-sayers of being insensitive. Leftists contend Smollett’s victimization in this ‘racially charged hate-crime’ didn’t garner the expected level of sympathy. But even though most Americans see through Smollett, just enough believed this hoax to make it dangerous. Even Empire creator Lee Daniels took to Instagram to defend Smollett, saying “It’s just another f*cking day in America.”
However, we know how it all panned out.
Smollett lost his job. Fox cancelled Empire. And the entire franchise crashed and burned after State Attorney Kim Foxx tried to sweep the investigation under the rug. Shockingly, Smollett still contends he was the victim of a hate crime committed by MAGA Trumpers despite the mountains of evidence. But eventually, democrats will learn. This is the age of the smart phone. Cameras are every where you go. And when things don’t add up, people do the math.
