Desperate Times: DNC Looking for Pesos

Holy Mother of Montezuma, what happened to Democrats?! Based on their latest bonehead scheme, one has to wonder if the party has lost it.

Fundraising in Mexico? Where next? Guatemala?!

I’m not even going to bring up the potential election laws the DNC may violate to fundraise in Mexico. Because the fact that the DNC sunk so low as to fundraise in Mexico is punishment enough.

Apparently desperate times call for desperate measures, as the money for Democrats in the United States has dried up. Hey Hollyweird, “IS THIS THING ON?!”

I know billionaire Tom Steyer loss of confidence in the party hurt, as he decided he liked the Democrat candidates so little he became one. So Democrats lost a huge benefactors, as Steyer can’t very well support the Party of Slavery and his own presidential run.  For that reason alone, I hope Steyer stays the course.

But what of the other Silicon Valley fat cats? They too seem to have abandoned the Party of the KKK. Perhaps after Hillary Clinton’s defeat the Left Coast billionaires now take a wait and see attitude on things?

Regardless, as The Daily Caller reports,

Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez will hold three fundraisers for American ex-patriots in Mexico, as Democrats struggle to keep pace with Republicans in fundraising.

How sad is that?! Democrats go to a country where millions of people live in squallor to fundraise?

The article continues,

Perez will host three events in Mexico City on Sept. 28, Bloomberg reported. One event is a happy hour that will cost $25 to attend. Perez will also host a dinner where tickets are going for between $1,000 and $15,000.

DNC spokeswoman Xochitl Hinojosa’s confirmed to Bloomberg that the events would be taking place.

The DNC will require attendees to provide information showing that they are American citizens or permanent residents, in order to comply with federal campaign finance laws. About 1.5 million American citizens live in Mexico, Bloomberg reported, citing State Department data.

Sounds fishy.

Of the 1.5 million Americans reportedly living in Mexico, how many have the money to make this trip worthwhile?

While I’m no conspiracy theorists, I would follow the drug money on this little jaunt. As we’ve learned from the Clintons, Democrats have no problem laundering money for the world’s despots and desperados.

Most Americans living in Mexico live near the American border. Further, I’m willing to bet they have little interest in politics, particularly Democrat politics, except those escaping American justice.

Where Democrats stand versus Republicans in fundraising in June explains a lot.

According to Politico,

The Democratic National Committee raised $8.5 million in June, the month of the party’s presidential debates in Miami — less than half of the $20.7 million the Republican National Committee pulled in during that time period, disclosures show.

The DNC also spent almost as much money as it raised — $7.5 million — during that time and finished the month with $9.3 million cash on hand. Meanwhile, the RNC is building a large war chest during the lead-up to 2020 and had $43.5 million cash on hand at the end of the month.

So Democrats burn rate was almost 89 percent. Thus, they spend almost every dime they make. Typical Democrats.

That burn rate doesn’t bode well for their chances in 2020. I guess when the media isn’t effective you are forced to burn cash fast.

Now let’s look at July fundraising to get an idea of the trend.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) raked in another record-breaking fundraising haul, easily surpassing the party’s other off-year totals and garnering more than $20 million for the second month in a row.

Receipts for July totaled $20.8 million, yielding $177.9 million for the cycle and $46.6 million in total cash on hand, the RNC reported on Tuesday. That figure is nearly double the $10.6 million raised in July of 2017 — the next-highest total in its history of off-year fundraising — and much larger than the $7.9 million the party raised in July of 2003.

Understand that Republicans are smashing records in the OFF YEAR! What do you think they will raise next year, as the Democrats (1) show more desperation, and (2) Trump really kicks into high gear against a single Democrat?

From where did the growth come? Apparently Republicans have caught up to Democrats in digital donations.

The figures came at a time of change for the RNC as it invested heavily in digital efforts and was able to massively increase its online donations. July of 2019 saw the largest amount in digital fundraising for that month — 1,100 percent more than the party raised during the same month in 2016.

“Last month’s fundraising haul again smashed records, and we continue to directly invest this money into growing our top-notch data-driven infrastructure, recruiting and training thousands of new volunteers, and registering voters across the country,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement provided to Fox News.

Clearly, the Republicans enhance their warchest monthly, as the Democrats deplete theirs. And with only one candidate running, expect Republicans to grow that advantage “yuge”. No wasted energy on 20+ candidates who will ultimately lose.

It doesn’t matter how much money Democrats raise, as they can’t beat Trump. So Republicans can use their money for down-ticket races. And make no mistake about it, Democrats fundraise in Mexico in hopes of getting enough “pesos” to fund down-ticket Democrats in hopes of keeping the House. Because they know they can’t defeat Trump.

As I have predicted, Democrats will lose both the House and the coup attempt.

Soon America will say “Adios!” to Pelosi, and “Bienvenidos” again to President Trump.
