Democrats waded into dangerous waters when they announced two articles of impeachment.
Now, it’s like watching the Titanic go down.
On the up side, we’re promised a vote could come in just a few days. But once again, our government is wasting millions just to rake Trump over the coals.
As Fox News reports:
House Democrats on Tuesday introduced two articles of impeachment against President Trump alleging abuse of power and obstruction of Congress regarding his interactions with Ukraine, touching off a rapid-fire sequence that could result in a momentous floor vote in a matter of days.
“The framers of the Constitution prescribed a clear remedy for presidents who so violate their oath of office,” said House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y. “No one, not even the president, is above the law.”
His office later posted text of the articles, which declare Trump’s actions warrant impeachment, trial and removal from office.
Bring It On!
We’ve let the Democrats have their fun long enough. It’s time the gloves come off. The Ukraine narrative is just one more excuse for “this partisan, gratuitous, and pathetic attempt to overthrow the Trump Administration and the results of the 2016 election.”
Fox Continues:
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., also countered at a GOP press conference that Trump’s actions are “absolutely” not impeachable.
“Other countries admire us because we believe in the rule of law, we believe in due process. But not in Nancy Pelosi’s House when she became speaker,” he said.

White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham slammed the announcement as part of Democrats’ bid to “overturn the votes” of 63 million Americans who supported Trump in 2016.
“Today, in a baseless and partisan attempt to undermine a sitting President, Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats announced the pre-determined outcome of their sham impeachment – something they have been seeking since before President Trump was inaugurated,” she said in a statement.
In other words, as Trump would say, complete and utter witch hunt.
Taking Stock
Obviously, the Russian investigation was a bust. Mueller didn’t find collusion. And now another piece of this witch hunt fell apart.
If you recall, last week, Pelosi wanted postpone impeachment. But she’s no longer in control of this madness. So Pelosi must move forward. If she doesn’t, Madam Speaker could be the next one they turn on. But notice what’s missing from these articles of impeachment: bribery. All along democrats have insisted that Trump engaged in bribery. But they were forced to concede that a bribery charge is impossible to stick.
So now, Democrats display their weakness by moving forward with only some of their fabricated charges. And you know what I’m reminded of? I’m reminded of that old warning: sharks smell fear. In this case, Trump is the shark, and Schiff, Pelosi, Nadler, and their cronies will soon be sniffed out. Speaking of Schiff, where is he exactly?

After lying about his contact with the whistleblower and @realDonaldTrump’s call, he’s nowhere to be found.

And that’s not the only thing we should notice. This move also deflects from the fact that the FBI didn’t run a clean investigation.

It’s plain to see where the President stands.
Nadler just said that I “pressured Ukraine to interfere in our 2020 Election.” Ridiculous, and he knows that is not true. Both the President & Foreign Minister of Ukraine said, many times, that there “WAS NO PRESSURE.” Nadler and the Dems know this, but refuse to acknowledge!

Shifty Schiff, a totally corrupt politician, made up a horrible and fraudulent statement, read it to Congress, and said those words came from me. He got caught, was very embarrassed, yet nothing happened to him for committing this fraud. He’ll eventually have to answer for this!

But despite everything democrats throw at the President, it doesn’t look like Trump has much to worry about.
