Nancy Pelosi just eluded to the next investigation of President Trump.
“As the President fiddles, people are dying.” Pelosi said.
Her statement is so transparent. Pelosi wants to impeach the president, AGAIN. And this time, she’s betting she can somehow exploit Covid-19.
It’s no surprise really. As Kevin Jackson explained, death rates and other stats are purposefully being skewed to keep the panic alive and well. Liberals don’t want to hear anything positive. Especially if it involves Trump. So it’s no wonder they would criticize the man working tirelessly to lift us out of this crisis.
But Pelosi isn’t paying enough attention. Because Trump’s approval ratings are skyrocketing. The country is happy with his response to the Wuhan Chinese virus. Remember, Pelosi herself delayed the $2.2T relief package Trump recently signed. And I haven’t heard anyone mention a Pelosi investigation.
However, Pelosi’s comments didn’t fall on deaf ears. And Lindsey Graham didn’t hesitate to comment.
“What she said, she’s blaming the president for people dying because of the way he’s led the country. That’s the most shameful disgusting statement by any politician in modern history. Let me tell you we’ve seen the best of America from our citizens helping each other, delivering groceries, having special shopping hours for senior citizens. She’s the first politician to blame another politician for people dying.”
Look, history will examine this epidemic from front to back and side to side. It will go down in the books. In fact, my son-in-law recently coined this era “The Great Infection.” But right now isn’t the time to criticize our leader. It’s the time to back him up and stand in his corner. Personally, I’ve never been so proud of my president as I am in this time when he not only battles an infectious disease, but also the sickness of leftism that plagues his administration.
Still, no matter what Trump does, I’m sure he knows there will be another investigation.
Who, What, When and How?
In her ramblings, Pelosi already posed the questions she’ll use to “investigate” Trump’s Covid-19 response.
According to Real Clear Politics:
“The president, his denial at the beginning was deadly,” she told CNN’s Jake Tapper. “His delaying of getting equipment to where it continued — his continued delay in getting equipment to where it’s needed is deadly. Now the best thing to do would be to prevent more loss of life rather than open things up, because we just don’t know.”
Tapper asked: “Are you saying his downplaying ultimately cost American lives?”
“Yes, I am,” Pelosi replied.
Pelosi also hinted there would be an investigation into the administration’s handling of the pandemic once things go back to normal.
“I don’t know what the scientists said to him,” Pelosi stated. “When did this president know about this, and what did he know? What did he know and when did he know it? That’s for an after-action review.”
And that’s when Pelosi made her claim that people die while “Trump fiddles.” You would think Trump was personally a carrier of the virus and he went state to state blowing germs on anyone he could cross paths with. The left might as well accuse him of murder while they’re thinking up these investigations.
