TRIGGERED: Guess Who’s Name Might Appear on Stimulus Checks

President Trump knows how to market. Whether this latest development on the stimulus checks is true or not, it’s great theater.

In what will undoubtedly trigger the Left, rumor is that President Trump’s name will appear on the stimulus checks that will go out to millions of Americans.

According to the WSJ.com:

Mr. Trump has told people he wants his signature to appear on the direct payment checks that will go out to many Americans in the coming weeks, according to an administration official. The White House didn’t comment.

Normally, a civil servant—the disbursing officer for the payment center—would sign federal checks, said Don Hammond, a former senior Treasury Department official.

Why should some “civil servant’s” name appear on these checks. The president of the United States fought hard for this legislation, so he should get the credit.

And what marketing! For two reasons.

First, free advertisement. The idea that quite a few Americans who hate Trump will still cash checks with his name on them.

Second, the outright triggering this will cause Leftists. I can only imagine how the media will cover this.

“Trump is an egomaniac!”, they will shout.

Those buttmunches will provide better advertisement for Trump than the checks themselves.

MSNBC and NBC legal correspondent, Katie Phang tweeted the WSJ:

“Trump has told people he wants his signature to appear on the direct payment checks that will go out to many Americans in the coming weeks, according to an administration official. The White House didn’t comment.” https://www.wsj.com/articles/house-lawmakers-race-to-washington-to-ensure-coronavirus-stimulus-passes-11585318472

No matter what, Trump’s name on these checks symbolizes his defeat of the Chinese Wuhan Virus. Further, he weathered another storm.

The Chinese created the storm, but the Left ushered the devastation into the American economy. They welcomed the devastation in fact. So why shouldn’t the president get to poke his thumb in their eye.

There is talk of an additional package.

Democrats lost the narrative of providing those who need the most with government assistance. Now they want to retake the narrative that they are the party of the people. But their Round 2 of this stimulus won’t be needed. The president will reject it. $2 trillion is plenty to keep the U.S. economy booming.

And like all things Trump, he put his name on this latest achievement.
