Trump fights back. And that’s what most Americans love about him. No turning the other cheek or letting the Left get away with blatant lies.
And that’s what Leftists in Wisconsin did. They lied about the president in ads, and the Trump re-election campaign punched back; with a lawsuit.
They are suing Northland Television which owns WJFW. The station is an NBC affiliate in Wisconsin. The lawsuit cites a misleading campaign ad.
According to the filing, Trump’s campaign sent a cease and desist letter to the station in late March regarding a commercial titled “Exponential Threat”. A Leftist Super PAC- Priorities USA, funded and produced the fraudulent commercial.
The Trump campaign filed the lawsuit after the station continued to run the ad.
Besides the claim that the commercial contains false and defamatory statements about President Trump, the filing alleges the ad is “far more insidious and, ultimately, far more dangerous.”
In viewing the ad, the campaign contends the makers used digital technology to take audio clips from campaign events, spliced them together to create a “blatantly false statement” that President Trump never made. Specifically, the quote in question is:
“The coronavirus, this is their new hoax.”
President Trump never said that. Thus, according to the lawsuit, the TV station airing the ad has “perpetrated a fraud on the public by recklessly broadcasting [Priorities USA’s] defamatory and false advertisement, which [the station] knew or should have known was produced through the use of technology that depicted a clearly false statement.”
Back in March of this year, the Trump campaign sent the cease and desist letter to WJFW-NBC stating that the ad was produced in a “fake, deceptive, and fraudulent manner.” The campaign included proof of their assertions about the ad.
Nevertheless, the station continued to air the ad 36 more times over the 11 days following the cease and desist letter dated March 25th.

Priorities USA knows the ad is false and misleading.
This type of ad is how Leftist organizations campaign, because they can’t rely on the truth. Their attempt to blame President Trump for the Chinese Wuhan Virus is like blaming gravity for plane crashes.
Still, Priorities USA claims via Twitter that Trump’s team wants the ad removed in order to raise money. Interesting theory given that Trump may have out-raised all the Democrats combined in this election cycle.
To understand the pathology of these Leftists assholes, read what Priorities USA Chairman Guy Cecil wrote of the lawsuit in the Milwaukee-Journal Sentinel:
“The truth is that Trump ignored warnings from experts and his own team and downplayed the coronavirus even as it spread unchecked across the country and the world,” Cecil said. “Americans are now suffering as a result of his inaction. We will never stop airing the facts and holding the president accountable for his actions.”
President Trump will be held accountable for his actions when he is re-elected for his second term in November.
Frankly, I’m anxious to see the president’s re-election. However I’m more interested in watching Leftists eat crow after his election. Especially when the crooks of the Obama administration are revealed. Democrats will be forced to do the walk of shame.
