The fact that Don Lemon still graces the airwaves says a lot about leftists, and even more about CNN. Because no one displays their stupidity as often as Lemon does.
If Lemon thinks good looks make a good president, he’s even dumber than I thought. But that’s exactly what CNN’s least-loved anchor said Sunday night.
In a peculiar display, Lemon suggested Trump allowed Obama to get “under his skin” because he’s “better looking,” “better educated” and has a more “accomplished wife.” But even Lemon couldn’t say Obama has a “better looking wife.”
Of course, I never tune in to CNN, but I caught the video on Twitter, and it certainly made me question whether Lemon was drunk. It wouldn’t be the first time he was blitzed on the air.

“What is it about President Obama that really gets under your skin? Is it because he’s smarter than you? Better educated? Made it on his own? Didn’t need daddy’s help? Wife is more accomplished? Better looking? I don’t know, what is it? What is it about him? That he’s a black man that’s accomplished being president? That he punked you on the whole birth certificate thing? What is it about him? Just wondering.”
This is just all kinds of wrong.
Journalism?
First of all, Lemon is referred to as a “news anchor” by the network. That means he’s support to present the news. He’s not billed as a commentator, nor is his show called an opinion show. Furthermore, Lemon’s even moderated a presidential debate, which is typically reserved for actual journalists. Thus, allowing him to go on these rants is a direct blow to the integrity of journalism. Of course integrity and CNN are on opposite ends of the spectrum.

Lemon — who Trump often calls “the dumbest man on television” – attacks the president on a regular basis. He once compared Trump to Adolf Hitler, then claimed he “didn’t mean” to compare the president and Nazi leader. Lemon has also called Trump a “racist,” a “fraud,” “con man,” questioned whether or not the State of the Union should air on a delay to avoid “propaganda,” declared that he wouldn’t shake the president’s hand and questioned Trump’s mental fitness.
Lemon has also suggested Trump doesn’t do enough work, speculated on whether or not the president lies about his weight, tied Trump to the college admissions cheating scheme and took a shot at Trump as he was giving his colleague Chris Cuomo a brief tour of his studio, suggesting that the president can’t afford such a lavish space since he isn’t a “real billionaire.” He also famously burst out laughing when a guest mocked Trump supporters earlier this year.
Trump vs. Obama
Lemon’s suggestion that Trump doesn’t work hard enough is laughable. Especially if we’re comparing the president to his predecessor. Trump improved the security of our nation, starting with our borders. But Obama paid off terrorists and started a war with our own police. Then Trump withdrew us from deals that only hurt us, such as NAFTA. Obama never had the guts to make such moves.
Before this pandemic started, Trump rescued our economy. Unemployment never saw the lows Trump created. Imagine if we were still living in Obama’s economy when the quarantine shut America down? People would be starving in the streets.
Like I previously pointed out:
President Trump has been preparing us for this moment since day one.
Trump said: “We need to close our borders.” And leftists cried out “racist!” How about when Trump said “we need to bring our businesses home?” And liberals cried out “nationalist.”
Our president said “we need to be less dependent on other countries.” But liberals said Trump was destroying other nations. And when Trump said “take care of America first,” his wisdom was laughed at. Funny how a virus put things in perspective.
Suddenly, all those people shouting “not my president,” are cashing stimulus checks right and left.
And let’s not forget, our president hasn’t cashed in a single dime from us. Every check we write to President Trump, he passes on to a needy organization. Meanwhile, politicians like Obama amassed great wealth while working for us. Explain that Mr. Lemon. Because I sure can’t.
