President Declares Rioters “Criminals and Thugs”

While our attention is zoned in on the riots following George Floyd’s death, let’s not dismiss the leftist hypocrisy at work.

What if I told you the President called rioters in Baltimore “criminals and thugs?” Most conservatives would quickly agree. I know I would. But here’s the kicker. I’m not quoting President Trump. (Honestly, his choice words are far more colorful.) I’m actually quoting Barack Obama.

In a speech he gave after the funeral of Freddie Gray, who died of a spinal cord injury in police custody back in 2015, Obama called for citizens to do better.

In fact, Obama went on to say: “That is not a protest. It is not a statement. It’s people, a handful of people, taking advantage of a situation for their own purposes — and they need to be treated as criminals.”

Holy Mary, mother of Jesus, Obama denounced someone trying to destroy our land. Of course, judging by Obama’s actions, his words were merely lip-service. Because we know what happened to this country after 8 years under Obama’s spell.

Still, it’s hilarious to compare the outraged leftists today to the outrageous leftists that destroyed Baltimore and created a state of emergency.

The Baltimore Riots

Obama clearly stated disapproval with those who made destruction of property the name of the game. In fact, he made several more digs at the rioters.

According to the New York Post, Obama laid into these domestic terrorists.

“There’s no excuse for the kind of violence that we saw yesterday. It is counterproductive. When individuals get crowbars and start prying open doors to loot, they’re not protesting. They’re not making a statement. They’re stealing,” he fumed.

“When they burn down a building, they’re committing arson. And they’re destroying and undermining businesses and opportunities in their own communities,” he said, adding that the violence is what people will remember most.

“One burning building will be looped on television over and over and over again, and the thousands of demonstrators who did it the right way have been lost in the discussion.”

Is anyone else have deja vu? Because this reminds me a lot of the time Obama said we must close our borders.

A Little Less Talk and a Lot More Action

There a country song that touts “a little less talk, a lot more action.” That’s exactly what we got when we upgraded from Obama to Trump.

Obama said these losers are destroying our country. And Trump engaged the military to put a stop to it. To be fair, Obama also sent out the National Guard, but he didn’t have the balls to do it the way Trump did.

In a speech from the Rose Garden, Trump made clear his intentions to act.

“As we speak, I am dispatching thousands and thousands of heavily armed soldiers, military personnel, and law enforcement officers to stop the rioting, looting, vandalism, assaults, and the wanton destruction of property,” he said. “We will end it now.”

Then Trump walked across the street to St. John’s Church. There, he left liberals reeling. Especially those bleeding heart Hollyweirdoes. Trump’s crime? Holding up a bible.

Hollywood Hysterics

It should go without saying that Alyssa Milano was among the first to completely melt down.

Personally, I agree with John here.

But Milano isn’t the only Hollyweirdo with her panties twisted in a wad.

According to Breitbart:

Samuel L. Jackson, Ice T, and Michael Rapaport rushed to conclude that the president had declared martial law, when in fact President Trump made no such declaration on Monday.

One would think Ice T has enough years on Law and Order to at least understand what martial law is. Apparently not. And it gets worse.

Star Wars actor Mark Hamill repeated the martial-law claim while mocking President Trump for holding a Bible in front of St. John’s.

Ice Cube took matters even further by speculating that President Trump will drop a nuclear bomb on a U.S. city.

John Cusack wrote in a now-deleted tweet that the president “has declared like a pig [wallowing] in shit ‘my American carnage has finally arrived.’”

Rob Reiner compared President Trump to Confederate president Jefferson Davis.

The only difference between what’s happening now and the Civil war is that Jefferson Davis is occupying the White House.

The list goes on and on. Mia Farrow, Bette Midler, Patricia Arquette, Stephen King, and Billy Baldwin to name a few. (Click here for more Hollywood banter.)

There is literally no end to the stupidity. So what do these leftists have to say about their beloved leader denouncing the same actions we see today? Because the leftist hypocrisy is the gift that keeps on giving.
