Speaker Nancy Pelosi got busted in her ‘Marion Barry’ moment. Caught on tape doing what her constituents cannot.
Pelosi referenced the Democrat playbook and quickly blamed the salon owner, claiming she was “set up”. But Pelosi didn’t stop there.
To bolster her foundation (built on quicksand), Pelosi claimed she had much support from the hairdressers of America:
“I have been inundated by people who are in the hair service industry, saying, thank you for calling attention to this. We need to get back to work. Many of them annoyed at the set up.”
I’d love to see these messages. Because I don’t think anybody inundated Pelosi with words of encouragement. In fact, I think it’s quite the opposite.

This may be the first time in her political life that Pelosi has been seriously trolled.
President Trump’s team wasted no time in putting Pelosi on center stage, as The Hill reported:
The White House started its press briefing on Thursday by playing a video showing Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) visiting a San Francisco hair salon earlier in the week despite restrictions on such businesses due to the coronavirus.
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany opened the briefing by denouncing Pelosi’s salon trip. McEnany played the video footage showing the Speaker in the salon on a loop during her introduction.
“Nancy Pelosi was not in the halls of Congress when I asked where she was,” McEnany said. “She was not working in good faith to make a deal for the American people.”
“Nancy Pelosi was found in San Francisco at a hair salon where she was indoors even though salons in California are … only open for outdoor service,” she continued. “Apparently, the rules do not apply to Nancy Pelosi.”
And Pelosi isn’t doing herself or her party any favors by attacking the salon owner.
As cities burn from rioting and businesses are looted from anti-police narratives, other businesses face foreclosure for a different reason. Because, they followed the Draconian rules of the Democrats. Now their businesses flounder.
Still, Pelosi and her ilk act as if nothing is happening. Business as usual to get hair and nails done, and of course Botox injections.
Rightly, the public is outraged. And frankly, things couldn’t be better for Trump if he planned this himself. It’s hard to believe the Democrats continue to spiral downward. Because daily Americans figure Democrats have sunk as low as they can go. Not the case.
The broader implications of Pelosi’s blunder revealed themselves recently. For example, the declawed Speaker was forced to settle for no pork in the continuing resolution to fund the government beyond September.
Normally Pelosi and team look at these budget issues as a way to load CRs with pork. But due to the “optics” of Salon-Gate, Pelosi rolled over and got her belly rubbed by Trump’s Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin.
Expect more of the same, as Team Trump figures out how to keep Pelosi on the hot seat.
Further, as the election nears and the polls {laughingly} continue to close, Pelosi and other Democrats will recognize their fate: another Trump term. Oh, and Pelosi will lose the gavel again.
That’s not how things are supposed to go, politically speaking. The two-party system arranged itself so that no one party can have complete power at any one time. To do so means the system is broken.
Recall Obama had full control of the government for 2 years, yet did nothing. That’s what he was supposed to do; nothing.
I predict that Trump will surprisingly have both houses of Congress in his second term. But unlike other presidents with this fortuitous anomaly, Trump will act and MAGA. And he will have Pelosi’s hair to thank for it.
