Cuomo Created TOXIC Work Environment

Would it shock you to learn that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has been accused of creating a toxic work environment?

The New York Post reveals what most Americans already know: Cuomo is a prick.

A former adviser to Gov. Andrew Cuomo and candidate for Manhattan borough president said working for the governor’s office was the “most toxic team environment” she’d ever experienced.

Lindsey Boylan, who worked for the Cuomo administration from March 2015 to October 2018, described her experience in a series of tweets Saturday and claimed that people are “deathly afraid” of Cuomo.

“Most toxic team environment? Working for @NYGovCuomo,” Boylan wrote in one tweet.

When you consider how Cuomo addresses New Yorkers in his media appearances, this story rings true.

Cuomo’s press conferences and other meetings seem more like a king holding court than citizens talking to their employee:

The article continues:

In another, she added, “I’ve had many jobs. Waitressing at @Friendlys as a teenager was an infinitely more respectful environment. Even when I had bad customers who tipped poorly.”

“If people weren’t deathly afraid of him, they’d be saying the same thing and you’d already know the stories,” she said.

Before Boylan was appointed as deputy secretary for economic development and special adviser to Cuomo in March 2018, she served as the chief of staff and executive vice president at Empire State Development, the state’s economic development agency.

Boylan charged that she wasn’t the only one who had allegedly been afflicted by the governor.

“Seriously, the messages and texts I receive when I speak the truth about this…it’s a whole book of people who have been harmed,” she tweeted.

“Don’t be surprised that it’s the same small group of white people sitting alongside him at every presser. The same group that he has had by him the whole time, doing his dirty work. If you’re not one of those handful, your life working for him is endlessly dispiriting,” Boylan wrote.

Cuomo is feared. And he rules with an iron fist.

One of my high-level friends went to New York to try to do business. He wanted to work with Black companies, almost in a private union capacity. To inspire more Black on Black business.

He said he was told to leave New York or die. This person is used to intimidation, but he got the picture and left immediately.

Politics in the most brutal sport on the planet. And while the US is not Third-World openly, behind the scenes, the top politicians are far more brutal.

Consider what’s happening to the president. A rich, white billionaire. If they can go after him, they can get anybody. Buck the system, and become an anecdote of the past.
