Revenge Time: Republicans In Danger

Yesterday, headlines suggested Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley might soon find themselves on a “no-fly list.”

Why? Because they’re to blame for the Capitol Riots.

As if this isn’t unbelievable enough, there’s more. According to House Homeland Security Committee Chair Rep. Bennie Thompson, elected officials won’t be given any exceptions for the incident at the Capitol. Instead, they’ll be treated as if they committed the crimes themselves.

More so, Thompson equated Cruz and Hawley with domestic terrorists.

As Newsweek explains:

“First of all, these folks, in my opinion, can be classified as domestic terrorists because of the actions they participated in on Wednesday. Now under normal circumstances international terrorists are out on no-fly lists,” Thompson said.

“These are domestic terrorists—same thing. A terrorist is a terrorist, no matter who you are.”

Nice try, Thompson. But once again, the leftist hypocrisy is being completely overlooked. But first, we have to ask what exactly is the crime we speak of?

Digging Deeper

According to the New York Times, there have been at least thirty investigations into Donald Trump’s life, career and presidency over the past four years. And that was the count before impeachment number one. But it’s ok to constantly dig deeper if your digging up Donald dirt.

However, digging into the 2020 election is not allowed by leftist standards. It reminds me of something my mother used to say when she was trying to sniff out the naughty child. “Thou does protest too much!” In other words, the guilty party was often the one throwing up the biggest smoke screen.

The more leftists demand we stop investigating, the more I believe they are hiding something. Could I be wrong? Could we all be wrong? Sure. But then, I feel like an investigation would be welcomed. Because when you have nothing to hide, you hide nothing.

That’s where Hawley and Cruz offended Democrats so deeply.

They wanted to continue to investigate.

Hawley was the first GOP senator to announce he would back challenges to the Electoral College. It was a significant move because while House Republicans already planned to object to several states, they needed a GOP senator to join them to trigger a debate and votes in both chambers.

Days later, Cruz led a group of 11 GOP senators saying they would also object. They circulated a letter calling for the creation of a special commission to conduct a 10-day emergency audit of the election results in states where the Trump campaign alleged widespread fraud — claims that were thrown out by Republican- and Democratic-appointed judges.

So the crime here is A) these Senators didn’t agree with the status quo, and B) they encouraged citizens to send a message to Washington, in the form of protests.

Now, honestly, I have fact-checked to see if Cruz or Hawley specifically called for protests, but let’s just assume they did, because it honestly doesn’t matter. Our government is meant to be one for the people, by the people. Thus, the people have every right to demand answers.

But leftists seem to live by the old “do as I say, not as I do” mantra.

Leftists Hypocrisy 101

I’ve worked for Kevin Jackson for exactly four years now, having come on board right before Trump’s inauguration.

In my time at The Black Sphere, I’ve come to understand the leftist hypocrisy is a machine that no one can stop. And evidence of its existence lies within every single issue we face.

For example, this isn’t the first election in modern history to face objections. In 2004, Democrats strongly objected to George Bush’s victory over John Kerry. As such, they delayed the electoral college vote count, triggering a debate.

Of course, the difference is that Kerry conceded the race. Trump did not. But that’s all the more reason to check, double check, and triple check if we have to. This isn’t picking the leader for a game of dodge ball. This is choosing the President of the United States of America for goodness sakes.

But that’s not the only hypocrisy wrapped in this effort to censure Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley.

What about Antifa?

During Trump’s inauguration, Antifa showed up in full force. Buildings were damaged. People were attacked. Even some journalists weren’t safe because of their allegiance to the GOP.

While Antifa smashed windows at Starbucks and McDonald’s, hidden behind masks and makeup, conservatives called them “Domestic terrorists.” However, liberals made the argument that these were just good ole grass roots protesters. Nothing to be afraid of. I’m guessing mass destruction only recently turned dangerous. Surely, our brothers on the left weren’t wrong?

But I digress. Because there are plenty more hypocrisies to call out. Nancy Pelosi dismissed destructive protests in her state as “something people do.” Yet, she was flabbergasted by the protests at the Capitol.

And what about defunding the police? For the past year, leftists repeatedly insisted police forces should be disassembled. But who did leftists beg for help at the Capitol. Oops, yes, that was the police they were dialing as fast as they could.

But there is one more I think you may be forgetting.

Obama’s Public Sodomy of the Left

America willingly entered a dictatorship for eight years. And when we finally broke free, it was Ted Cruz that called out the many times Congress failed us.

In fact, I’m not sure what I like about Cruz the most. Is it that he’s a Texan? Or is it that he can make any Democrat go running home to mama in 3.4 seconds flat.

Just re-read what Cruz said to his colleagues in 2017:

When the Department of Justice used Operation Choke Point to target legal businesses because they disagreed politically with those businesses, the Democrats on this committee were silent.

And when the Obama Justice Department sent millions of dollars of taxpayer monies to sanctuary cities that were defying Federal immigration law, the Democrats on this committee were silent.

When the Obama administration refused to enforce Federal immigration laws and unilaterally re-wrote those laws, the Democrats on this committee were silent.

Then, when the Obama administration released tens of thousands of criminal illegal aliens including rapists and murderers into the general population, the Democrats on this committee were silent.

When the Department of Justice signed-off on the Obama administration paying a nearly $2 billion dollar ransom to Iran contrary to Federal law, the Democrats on this committee were silent.

When the Obama administration ignored and re-wrote provision after provision of Obamacare contrary to the text of the law, the Democrats on this committee were silent.

Later, when the Obama administration signed off on illegal recess appointments that The Supreme Court had to strike down unanimously, the Democrats on this committee were silent.

And when the Obama administration released five Guantanamo terrorists without the required notification of Congress, the Democrats on this committee were silent.

Not much has changed when it comes to the left’s backstabbing of America. Except one thing. The right is done accepting the status quo. We may go down, but not without one hell of a fight. And the conservatives jumping ship will soon find themselves swimming in pretty deep water.
