AOC holds the power to consistently make conservatives shake their heads. She’s a confusing contradiction sporting big hoop earrings as her signature political statement.
But no matter how many times I’ve had a laugh at AOC’s expense, I never quite pegged her for a mental breakdown.
Apparently, I was wrong! Now, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is in therapy. And like everything else falling apart, this is all Trump’s fault. At least that was her claim on the radio show Latino USA.
AOC called the capitol riots an “all-out attempted coup.” But she has it backwards. The riot was IN RESPONSE TO an all out coup against the greatest president in modern history. So, AOC can cry her crocodile tears, and claim Trump supporters “had a lot of us, especially Latino communities, in a very reactive mode.” In fact, as AOC put it, lawmakers are now as good as veterans in the United States military, because she and her colleagues “served in war.”
But wait, there’s more. Thanks to her far-left friend and confidant, Squad member Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), AOC is finally able to “recognize trauma.” Hell, she’s probably looking into disability benefits for her newly acquired PTSD. Perhaps a support group at the VA could help AOC redefine trauma. I’m pretty sure a room full of Vietnam veterans could definitely help her define “serve in war.”
It’s time to get real.
AOC didn’t mind other riots throughout her tenure. In fact, this new breakdown over a riot clearly contradicts AOC’s former behavior. The woman tweeted that being “uncomfortable is the point.” So, maybe the capitol riots are a ruse, a cover story for her therapy.
The whole point of protesting is to make ppl uncomfortable.
Activists take that discomfort w/ the status quo & advocate for concrete policy changes. Popular support often starts small & grows.
To folks who complain protest demands make others uncomfortable… that’s the point.

Those are AOC’s own words back in December. So, a month later, she’s a wounded little bird that can no longer fly?

Further, AOC’s first days in congress were met with protests. And AOC decided to sit in on one such protest in Nancy Pelosi’s office. Protestors wanted the Green New Deal on the table. Of course Nancy Pelosi didn’t try to implement that garbage. The woman’s a liberal, but she’s not that stupid.
Of course, Justice Democrats jumped to defend AOC and ridicule Pelosi.
Our response:
Not good enough. Pelosi is reinstating a 2007 committee tasked with investigating the harms of climate change.
We don’t need more investigation. We need specific plans matching the urgency and scale mandated by the UN’s IPCC report on catastrophic climate change. https://t.co/l3sr0tBT34

These same “Justice Democrats” are responsible for AOC’s unexpected rise to power. They seriously needed a face for the puppet strings, and AOC decided she was bored of pouring margaritas.
Somehow the scam worked, and we ended up with AOC in our congressional hallways. And she’s made headlines ever since, with her ridiculous statements and outrageous behavior.
Checkered Past
Let’s just take a little walk down memory lane and recount some of AOC’s blunders. Like the time AOC went to the border, and faked pictures to make it seem like Trump caged children inhumanely. The Green New Deal was such a disaster, AOC pulled it from her own website. But it was too late, people had already read her plan. Eliminating cow farts is the part I loved best. No hamburgers, no milk, which leads to no cheese, sour cream, or instant pudding, because clearly cows are the problem. That one I won’t soon forget.
Sadly, she also supported anti-police rallies. As the Daily Mail recounted:
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez supported almost 1,000 protesters who took to the streets of Brooklyn to demonstrate against the NYPD following their crack-down on subway fare dodgers.
AOC then tweeted video of the fare-dodgers jumping the turnstiles.
Her reasoning? “Arresting people who can’t afford a $2.75 fare makes no one safer and destabilizes our community. New Yorkers know that, they’re not having it, and they’re standing up for each other.”
Signs and Posters called for “no cops, no fares.” Meanwhile, “flashier banners bore slogans such as ‘Don’t let these pigs touch us,’ ‘F**k the police,’ ‘Punch that cop’ and ‘NYPD out of MTA,’ other signs read ‘Free transit,’ ‘Poverty is not a crime’ and ‘Our subways need more $ for elevators, not for cops.”
Next time one of these ‘no-cops, no-fares’ liberals is being raped on the c-train, don’t call 911. Instead, call AOC. She’s the one pushing for less police involvement. One of her many bright moves since being elected.
Perhaps AOC’s therapist can help her out with the guilt she should feel (if she has a heart) when they count how many people suffered directly at Ocasio-Cortez’s hand. Good thing she has that government employee health insurance. At least her mental health won’t be a huge financial burden.
