‘merica’s top military officer said Thursday that China and Russia remain the greatest military threats to America after President Biden offered a different answer.
According to the top Boze, the Joint Chiefs informed him that the greatest physical threat facing America was global warming.
Did SCOTUS make the right decision on medical mandates for large businesses?
“This is not, however, in conflict with the acknowledgment that climate change or infrastructure or education systems – national security has a broad angle to it. I’m looking at it from a strictly military standpoint,” Gen. Milley added in response to the question that came from North Dakota Sen. Kevin Cramer.
More Signs of Dementia
It’s bad enough that Biden embarrassed us abroad. Recently, his trip across the pond resulted in some rough feedback from the Brits.
As we sadly documented:
An anonymous Tory MP told Politico: ‘America should remember who their allies are… unfortunately he’s (Biden) so senile that he probably won’t remember what we tell him anyway. ‘Unless an aide is listening I’m not sure he’s going to remember for very long.’
Perhaps it’s the same absent mindedness that led Biden to mistake climate farce for a true threat to the United States.
The Daily Caller explains:
While speaking at Royal Air Force Mildenhall station in the United Kingdom yesterday, President Biden told the crowd of American troops that the Joint Chiefs said while he was vice president that the greatest threat facing the United States today is climate change.
“When I first was elected vice president with President Obama, military sat us down to let us know what the greatest threats facing America were — greatest physical threats. This is not a joke,” Biden told the soldiers. “You know what the Joint Chiefs told us the greatest threat facing America was? Global warming.”
Now, I’m just a civilian. The closest thing I have to military insight is my raising. A Marine Corps drill instructor is a fierce presence. Thus, my personal opinions are molded around that experience. But if you ask me, I’d say our biggest threats are terrorism. Both foreign and domestic (BLM, antifa, need I say more?).
And what of poor leadership? Because that certainly makes us vulnerable to foreign interference. Yet, the “Commander in Chief” thinks Al Gore had it right all along. Unfortunately for Gore and his followers, the “inconvenient truth” is more like an embarrassing blunder Biden can add to his list of lunancies.
As one senator put it:
“I just think it’s peculiar that the president would go to another continent and tell our service members there that the number one threat is climate change,” Sen. Cramer said in response to Gen. Milley’s testimony.
I agree. In fact, I’m waiting for the compilation of Biden’s latest sound bites to go viral. Complete idiots always make for amusing Tik Toks. Unfortunately, they don’t make for great leaders.
