In case you’re measuring, Joey Demento and his team fail at every level.
The economy is propped up by inflation we haven’t seen in decades. And Team Demento says, “Get used to it and thank God Trump’s economy allowed you to afford it!”
Further, while inflation in consumer goods runs rampant, the price of gasoline has blown through the roof. Over the past year, gasoline prices have doubled. And Biden did what most Leftists do when confronted with problems of their own creation: he punted.
Biden said recently that his policy on climate farce is not the reason for the exorbitant gas prices:
But Biden isn’t just setting records for inflation. Check out his homicide numbers.
From CNN:
Provisional data from the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics, released early Wednesday, suggest the homicide rate for the United States rose 30% between 2019 and 2020. It is the highest increase recorded in modern history — and confirms through public health data a rise in homicides that so far had been identified only through crime statistics.
The previous largest increase in the US homicide rate was a 20% rise recorded from 2000 to 2001 because of the September 11 terror attacks, according to NCHS.
“It is the largest increase in 100 years,” Robert Anderson, chief of the mortality statistics branch at NCHS, said.
Under Biden, America is the most deadly America in the 21st century.
The article continues,
“The only larger increase since we’ve been recording these data occurred between 1904 and 1905, and that increase was most likely — at least partly — the result of better reporting,” Anderson told CNN. “We had states being added to what we refer to as the death registration areas, so we were counting deaths in more areas over time. We didn’t have all states reporting until 1933.”
Regardless of when record-keeping started on homicides, clearly America is far more dangerous under Biden. And for additional data points, only three states appeared to have experienced decreases in homicides last year: Maine, New Mexico and Alaska.
Any guesses where the increases in crime are centered? If you guessed Democrat-controlled cities, then you would be 100 percent correct.
Let’s look at Philadelphia, a city that achieved a milestone recently:
Philadelphia hit a grim milestone Wednesday as the city experienced its 500th homicide of the year, one which has plagued multiple cities with increasing levels of violence following years of relative peace.
The latest killing involved a 55-year-old woman found by police officers shot multiple times around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. She later died at a hospital.
“Each and every homicide carries with it a profound sense of loss. However, for our City to have reached such a tragic milestone – 500 lives cut short – it carries a weight that is almost impossible to truly comprehend,” Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said in a statement.
Philadelphia could be replaced with almost any major city in America.
Here are the Top 10 cities for homicides per capita:
- St. Louis, MO
- Baltimore, MD
- Detroit, MI
- Dayton, OH
- Baton Rouge, LA
- New Orleans, LA
- Kansas City, MO
- Memphis, TN
- Cleveland, OH
- Richmond, VA
If you’re wondering why Chicago is missing, here’s the answer. Chicago ranks 71 in homicides, per capita. A startling fact, given the amount of press that city gets for homicides.
So while Democrats continue fabricating ruses around the Wuflu and force mandates on citizens, they wholly ignore major problems.
Put another way, I’m far less worried about dying from Wuflu than dying from violence in any Democrat-controlled city in America. And just in time for holiday shopping, aka smash and grab.
