If you are a Leftist, you have no real friends. All your friends want something from you.
I’m sorry to deliver that truth to Lefties across the nation, but knowing now may help them actually find someone who sincerely cares when they overdose or do some other “insert stupid Leftist sh*t here.”
So this “spat” between a couple of Hollyweird friends highlights what I know.
According to Page 6, the women from Sex in the City are feuding. Specifically Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Things between Parker and Cattrall — who played fan favorite Samantha Jones — became rocky several years ago when Cattrall announced the death of her brother Christopher on social media and was not pleased with Parker’s words of sympathy.
The “Hocus Pocus” star, 56, shared her condolences on social media writing: “Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx.”
But Cattrall lashed back at Parker’s comment, sharing an Instagram post asking her to “stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona,” along with a New York Post article detailing the show’s “mean girls” culture allegedly fostered by Parker.
To be clear, I have no dog in this cat fight. But here is what I know.
Sex in the City was a hit. The series won several accolades, including seven of its 54 Emmy Award nominations, eight of its 24 Golden Globe Award nominations, and three of its 11 Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.
Understand that these women worked together for years on a hit show. And even as they faded out of Weinstein casting couch potential, their movie and other reboots ensured additional financial success.
But as I say of Leftists, they are rarely ever satisfied.
Worse, remember what I said earlier: Leftists are never really friends.
As Page 6 notes, Parker isn’t aware of the so-called feud.
Parker has always steadfastly denied there has been a feud.
“I’d just like to remind everybody that there is no catfight,” she told Vulture in a 2018 interview. “I have never uttered an unkind, unsupportive, unfriendly word, so I would love to redefine it.”
Who do we believe? Cattrall or Parker?
And if there is a feud, what is it really about? With “rich housewives,” it doesn’t take much.
Male co-star and avowed Leftist Chris Noth chimed in on the dispute.
The actor, who memorably played “Mr. Big” on “Sex and the City,” defended his on-screen galpal-turned-wife, Sarah Jessica Parker, in her long-running rancor with Kim Cattrall.
“I have to tell you, I have absolutely no idea what her thinking is, or her emotions,” Noth, 67, explained in a Guardian interview.
“I do know that I’m very close with SJ and [Cattrall’s] descriptions of her don’t even come close. I liked her, I thought she was marvelous in the show and some people move on for their own reasons. I don’t know what hers were. I just wish that whole thing had never happened because it was sad and uncomfortable.”
So Noth hasn’t seen the ugly side of Parker, apparently. But that doesn’t mean an ugly side doesn’t exist. What he says next intrigues me:
He continued, “I just don’t like to see anyone talking down about SJ because she’s a target and people can be nasty. I feel very protective of her and I was not happy about that. That’s all I’ll say about that.”
He alludes that others have talked Parker down. I certainly don’t know. Nevertheless I see smoke.
I know we must tolerate them as relatives, as we have no choice. However, don’t choose Leftists as friends. You will invest a lot of time and get nothing but grief. Better to just get a dog.
