I can get behind this company for doing the right thing. Because of REDCON1, Conservatives can put another point in the “win” column.
According to USA Today a bodybuilding sponsor dropped actor Arnold Schwarzenegger as a spokesperson over his recent rant against anti-maskers. The company is REDCON1. And I don’t even know what they make, but I am buying some of it.
In an interview earlier this month, Schwarzenegger told CNN host Bianca Golodryga and retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman that people who still are in denial about the COVID-19 pandemic need a reality check. He went on to call people who are still anti-masks “schmucks.”
“You have the freedom to wear no mask — but you know something? You’re a schmuck for not wearing a mask. Because you are supposed to protect your fellow Americans around you,” Schwarzenegger said in the interview.
A spokesperson for the sports supplement company REDCON1 commented that that they chose to discontinue their partnership with the former California governor because of his “anti-America” comments. Further, they pulled out of the Schwarzenegger bodybuilding event next month.
“We elected to discontinue support due to Arnold’s comment, ‘Screw Your Freedoms.’ With the global influence Arnold beholds we find that ideology dangerous and anti-America and community.”
How refreshing! I looked up REDCON 1. This is from their website:
America’s #1 Supplement Brand
REDCON1 is a mission-based company founded on a simple principle – create the highest quality supplements for people that need to get the most out of their workout and workday.
I don’t know if this is true or not, but I love what REDCON! did to that blowhard RINO Schwarzenegger. And I applaud their very public, vocal response.
In a time where many companies play the “woke” card, these guys took the risk. I suggest that Conservative Americans reward REDCON1 for doing the right thing. I’m convinced that most companies feel as REDCON1 does. They just need to know we support them.
