Democrats will never admit these two things. Ready?
First, they never wanted Joe Biden as a president or much of anything else. Second, Democrats wish Biden would just go away.
But given Democrats’ limited, ok non-existent choices, they cheated into office the lesser of multiple evils.
Roger Kimball of American Greatness wrote:
I sense a disturbance in the force. In fact, I’ve been feeling the tremors for a while. Back in January, I wrote a column for American Greatness called “The Coming Dethronement of Joe Biden.” In it, I noted that Biden’s appalling performance as president would sooner or later—and probably sooner, given the ostentatious nature of his multifaceted failure—lead to his removal as president.
I should have added that it wasn’t Biden’s performance per se that would lead to his downfall. The problem, rather, was the way his performance was undermining his—and therefore his minders’ and puppetmasters’—political power. As Saul Alinsky, community organizer to the stars, noted, the “issue is never the issue.” Accordingly, the people who put Joe Biden in power—I cannot name them, but I know they are the same people who keep him in power—do not care about inflation, rising gas and food prices, COVID lockdowns or mask mandates, the porousness of our Southern border, the threat of war with Russia, or the myriad other issues that worry ordinary voters. I am quite certain, in fact, that the word “voters” brings a vaguely contemptuous smile to their faces.
They are not troubled by the suffering of the people, indeed, they approve of a certain amount of suffering. Suffering produces dependency; and dependency, in turn, is like an insurance policy for those who cater to it: the bureaucrats who fill the troughs that feed the populace. The point, of course, was never to end the dependency but to manage in such a way as to perpetuate and expand it. Joe Biden is an errand boy, a figurehead, in the metabolism of this great (not to say Great Society) act of political legerdemain.
Of course, knowing Biden’s role in the Big Cheat is one thing. Doing something about it is something else entirely.
In October of last year, Rasmussen reported that at least 56% of voters believe cheating played a huge role in the 2020 election. Six months later, one can bet that percentage has multiplied quite a bit. Why? Because the longer we watch Biden govern, the more obvious it becomes that he is completely incapable of making any kind of presidential decision, foreign or domestic. And leaning on his second it command is undoubtedly not an option.
Too bad it’s not as easy as singing along with America’s favorite boy band of the 90s.
“Don’t really want to make it tough; I just want to tell you that I’ve had enough.
Might sound crazy but it ain’t no lie- Baby bye-bye-bye.”
If only a few catchy lyrics would send the President packing. Clearly, this is far more complicated. To get rid of Biden before the next election, one would have to prove the Big Cheat did, in fact, occur. And for most Democrats, they’d rather continue taking hit after hit than own up to the truth.
However, one has to wonder what it would take for Democrats to throw in the towel. No one can honestly want to see our country fail this badly. Yet, if the scamdemic, Afghanistan, and Bidenflation aren’t already enough, one thing is crystal clear. Democrats are willing to sacrifice their health, well-being, and morals just to keep the orange man out. Such dedication to the cause is typically reserved for terrorists. But then again, that’s exactly what Democrats have become.
