YOU KNOW HOW SOMETIMES YOU FIND STUFF YOU WEREN’T EXPECTING?
I was looking for the “Select all” button in the “Edit” menu of my PC so that I could copy and paste a research item from the internet.
Suddenly my Operating System’s software glitched—a not uncommon phenomenon with anything Microsoft–and something called “Editor” appeared. Out of curiosity I clicked on it.
¿QUÉ ES ESTO? WAS IST DAS? WHAT IS THIS SHIT?
Microsoft defines their “Editor” software as a “writing assistant… with suggestions that go beyond grammar.” Translation? It’s Social Engineering which is an aspect of Mind Control through Artificial Intelligence.
Future consequences: “Editor” will be able to imitate your writing style and write what it wants, wherever it wants, without your knowledge or permission.
Guess what? Artificial Intelligence can already mimic your voice, image, and writing. Identity theft hackers are already using it–and in exponentially increasing numbers because the price of the software has drastically dropped.
Do you trust Microsoft? Should you trust Microsoft?
HOW IT WORKS
Microsoft’s “Editor” scores you on the basis of 100%.. It’s an aggregate score compiled from each score in the following elements:
The first element gauges your writing as being “formal”, “professional”, or “casual”. The second element, “Corrections”, lists how many, if any, it made in your spelling and grammar. OK. That’s standard. That’s part of what editing is.
There is also an element called “Similarity”, the purpose of which is to “Check for similarity to online sources.” Ah ha! Here we go.
Ask yourself just what is Microsoft’s purpose?
Is it trying to detect plagiarism? Or – a more plausible explanation, knowing Microsoft’s ulterior motives -is it censoring whether your work is similar to what is deemed acceptable to Microsoft? And what are some of these acceptable sources? Quotations from Mao Tse-tung? (His politically correct name is now Mao Xedong but I’m not politically correct.) Joseph Stalin? Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto? Speeches about reparations for blacks by Gavin Newsom? Seriously, one cannot help but notice that Microsoft reveals neither its acceptable sources nor any criterion by which they’re selected.
Furthermore, exactly who at Microsoft decides what the acceptable sources are? Intellectually impaired, morally diseased rectal orifice flunkies who work at Microsoft and are programmed to inject as much Commie crap into their algorithms as possible? Or is there some top level “disinformation”-purging cabal, much like at pre-Elon Musk Twitter?
Then came the heading entitled “Refinements” and that’s where my freedom-loving mind got blown. Included were the elements, “Inclusiveness” and “Sensitive Geopolitical References”.
Then there was “Readability” under which were “Flesch Reading Ease” and “Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level”. The range was from grades 0 to 18 with 8 seeming to be recommended.
How nice. Let’s insult America. And let’s dumb down America further than the National Education Association’s Leftist-indoctrinated teachers already have.
GOOSE-STEPPING TO THE THE FLESCH FORMULAS
The Flesch formulas have been adopted as infallible by sheep, including educators, publishers, and the military. One company states the universal partyas line drivel that “it is a smart idea to aim for a Flesch Kincaid reading level of 8. This is because the average reader will have reading skills equivalent to 8th graders.”
SO WHO WAS THIS FLESCH?
Rudolf Flesch (1911-1986) was a lawyer from Austria who opined that our method of teaching kids to read was “totally wrong” everywhere throughout the United States. It is contrary to “all logic and common sense”.
Flesch’s answer? All students should be taught to read English by memorizing each word by its shape and context. Huh?!
Uhm, I think that is the reason why before Flesch a few little grade school children had trouble reading, but after Flesch the country devolved to where now many college students. and high school graduate adults are illiterate or only semi-literate.
Flesch also went on to pontificate that he had figured out the methodology of how Americans should lead their lives in his book, “The Art of Clear Thinking” (1951). He asserts that all we need to do is to absorb the fruits of what he did in the book: “assemble certain known facts about the human mind and put them in plain English.” This guy was a megalomaniac!
THE BACKGROUND OF THE FLESCH-KINCAID NONSENSE
Communism was already simmering in America, with activities and literature cemented between1864 and 1930. One result: in 1934 Willard Givens, then the head of the always-Leftist National Education Association, wrote: “Many drastic changes must be made…all of us…must be subjected to a large degree of social control.”
WHAT ABOUT J. PETER KINCAID?
Peter Kincaid (1942 to, unfortunately, the present) is a psychologist. What kind of mind he has is evidenced by the fact that he teamed up with the idiot Rudolf Flesch.
Together, among other cognitive crimes, they are responsible for dumbing down the military with their cockamamie reading level dictates.
MICROSOFT WAS ASKING FOR IT
At the very end of this brain swill was a request: “Feedback to Microsoft. Tell us what you think about Editor.”
I’m sure they were waiting for avalanches of encomiums. Intellectually impaired, robot- and censorship-obsessed Leftists would certainly vomit praises. I did not.
Contrary to my customary vocabulary and writing style with which you readers are well acquainted, contrary to my parents’ upbringing, and contrary to the convent prep school where nuns taught me, I let it fly.
My feedback to Microsoft? “Mind your own f_king business and you can ram your dictatorship up your _ss.”
