I can’t even count the number of times I’ve imagined someone giving Adam Schiff the boot. In fact, Donald Trump should be granted the honor of telling the political Pinocchio “you’re fired” and watching as they roll him down Capitol Hill.
Like they say, dreamers gotta dream. Apparently, Florida Republican Anna Paulina Luna has the same dream in mind. And she’s bold enough to take aim at her dream by drafting a resolution to kick him out on his arse.
Luna’s resolution is her response to the long-awaited Durham report. More than three-hundred pages of what we already knew— this witch hunt was unfounded. Unnecessary. Untrue. We could go on for days. And Shifty was right in the midst of the manure all along.
Remember when he promised he’d seen proof of Russian collusion? But how could Schiff see something that never happened? In Durham’s words, “the Department and the FBI failed to uphold their important mission of strict fidelity to the law in connection with certain events and activities described”.
It’s about time someone write a resolution like this:
“Resolved, That, pursuant to Article I, Section 5, Clause 2 of the Constitution of the United States, Representative Adam Schiff, be, and he hereby is, expelled from the House of Representatives,” Luna’s one-page resolution reads.
“Schiff lied to the American people. He used his position on House Intel to push a lie that cost American taxpayers millions of dollars,” Luna tweeted from her congressional account. “He is a dishonor to the House of Representatives.”
“Knowingly using your position on House Intel to push a lie that ripped apart our country, cost taxpayers millions of dollars, and authorized spying on a US President and then proceeding to double down on the lie within days of the Durham report coming out makes you unfit for office,” Luna tweeted. “Ethics should investigate.”
Unfortunately, I can’t promise anything will come of this resolution.
This move is long overdue. In fact, Democrats should’ve nipped Schiff in the bud the second they caught him fabricating Trump-tales. But they’re so obsessed with the quest to get the bad orange man, they didn’t even try to oust Trump with actual facts. Of course, fighting fair is something politicians lost the ability to do decades and decades ago.
Still, Republicans took over the house months ago. Speaker McCarthy did kick Schiff off the House Intelligence Committee, citing his lack of intelligence alongside his blatant ignorance of the truth. But I’m not sure McCarthy would’ve followed through if it hadn’t been a tooth-and-nail battle for the coveted speaker’s gavel.
Is there anyone out there who isn’t confused as to how Schiff is still employed by the US Government? Clearly, if I were to spend my days spinning lies, I’d be out of the job. Integrity is important at the Kevin Jackson Network. Heck, I get shadow-banned for writing the truth, just because it often shows the dark side of Democrats. The bottom line is this— any normal person under any normal circumstances is held to some standard of honesty.
I think it’s time to call our representatives, and I know exactly what we need to say.
Grow Some Balls and Boot Schiff Out!
We all agree it’s the right move. Nothing upholds the constitution like honesty and integrity do. And in the spirit of honesty, let’s just say it. This is the problem with the Republican party. Conservatives sit around contemplating the solutions, but they’re afraid to make the really big moves.
The reason baffles me. Are they afraid of political payback? I would rather lose my job knowing I fought the good fight. I get it, these Congressional seats are a sweet spot to sit in. A decent salary. Unbeatable benefits. Lots of paid days off, and those are the above board benefits.
Wow, as I write this, I just happened upon a realization. It’s likely not the above board benefits Republicans are afraid of losing. It’s far more likely the paid vacations, inside scoops on stock valuations, and those little games of “I’ll scratch your back, you scratch mine” that GOP old timers don’t think they can live without. And it’s a damn shame. Because if we’re serious about 2024, it’s time to make the big moves, NOW. It won’t solve all our problems, but getting rid of Crazy Eyes is a stellar start.
