Democrat Desperate Strategy Change to Dump Trump

Could it be more obvious

Democrats fascinate me in their quest to get Trump. They remind me of the Wile E Coyote in the Bugs Bunny cartoons.

Wile E Coyote (super genius) plotted each episode to get the Road Runner. And things always backfired on the coyote. In this example, I’m sure you’ve already guessed that Trump plays the road runner.

Democrats currently manufactured 91 indictments against Trump. I don’t imagine anybody in history, including Al Capone had anything close to this amount. At this point, even the most moronic Democrat realizes they are lying on Trump.

Their inability to get Trump on literally trumped-up charges has created a real panic. And that’s why Jen Psaki unveiled the new strategy by the Democrats to get Trump:

Transcript:

The handwringing and cocktail party speculation about an alternative for Joe Biden is continuing; will continue.

Guess what? Joe Biden isn’t perfect. No candidate is, by the way.

We have to understand what the alternative is.

If Donald trump is elected to a second term, Donald trump will prosecute anyone he deems an enemy, unleash troops on protesters, and essentially unravel the rule of law as we know it. And this time he plans to line his administration with people who will help him do it.

But sure. Joe Biden is 3 years older and occasionally trips over things

There’s a lot to be concerned about with a second Trump term. The speeches are getting much more disturbing and much more unhinged and we should all hear it that way.

And what Psaki said is echoed by this author.

Donald Trump’s 2024 platform is hair-raising from a constitutional point of view. Putting aside the possibility of our withdrawal from global commitments, there is the abolition of birthright citizenship and a vow to immediately expand his first-term ban on Muslims entering the country. Then there is the scariest, his sinister plot to have revenge on his political enemies — and to weaponize the Justice Department to accomplish his goal.

Last Sunday, the Washington Post ran a chilling piece about Trump’s plans for a second term. It starts: “Trump and his allies have begun mapping out specific plans for using the federal government to punish critics and opponents should he win a second term, with the former president naming individuals he wants to investigate or prosecute and his associates drafting plans to potentially invoke the Insurrection Act on his first day in office to allow him to deploy the military against civil demonstrations.”

That trusty WaPo “ran a chilling piece”?

Well there you have it; proof of what Trump will do. Directly from the “chilling piece” in WaPo.

And as for the earlier references to birthright citizenship and discerning immigration policies, those are common sense ideas by Trump, and certainly nothing that should get him banned.

This person sounds exactly like Psaki. Offering proof with no evidence.

Honestly, the Leftists who targeted Trump deserve equal torment they’ve imposed on Trump and his family. They portray Trump as a despot, as Joe Biden and his rogue DOJ showcase despotism front and center.

The author fears Trump’s popularity, as indicated in his reference to Trump’s polling:

Yet, if you listen to the pollsters, few are paying attention. In a discussion before the third Republican debate, pollster Nate Silver said that Trump is a shoe-in to get the GOP nomination, asserting that the 75 percent chance that other pollsters are giving Trump to become the nominee “seems too low,” adding that Trump’s chances are closer to 90 percent. And if he gets the GOP nod, CNN polls show him leading Biden in four key swing states that will determine the outcome.

Now, polls are not necessarily indicative of the election outcome. We learned that in Kentucky, Ohio and Virginia last Tuesday. But they’re enough to make us stand up and take notice.

Trump accomplishes something few can with his base: he makes them “sticky”. They support the man no matter what. Actually though, it’s not Trump’s doing. It’s the Democrats’.

Get Trump’s mug uniquely created on a mug!

Democrats’ incessant, childish, mindless attempts to get Trump backfired over and over. And now they know they screwed up.

As the author of this piece notes, Trump will beat these specious charges against him.

Don’t count on any of the pending litigation to save us from The Donald. A trial date has not even been set in Georgia, and in Florida, Judge Aline Cannon, who has said she will adhere to her previously set May 20 trial date, but signals that she will decide next year whether to postpone the trial, maybe until after the election.

The January 6 trial in DC with its March 4 start date is the most promising for a trial before the election. But Trump’s lawyers may have throttled the timetable with motions that could tie the legal system in knots as the defendant runs out the clock. Trump’s claim of blanket immunity — which is sure to go down in glorious defeat, since it is equivalent to a claim that he is above the law — may take time to be decided at the appellate level, and more time if it goes to the supremely partisan Supreme Court.

The 91 indictments were meant to keep Trump from campaigning. Ironically, these traps set by the Democrats were sprung by other Democrats. Trump not only thwarts them at every turn, but he gets stronger with each pursuit.

The author admits that even if Trump is convicted on all 91 felony counts pending against him, he will not be disqualified from running for office or taking office if he wins. Further, the litigation to remove him from ballots in 21 states will prove equally fruitless.

In a final desperate move, the authors declares: Trump wants an overthrow of the Constitution.

Trump has said he wants to “terminate the Constitution” to restore himself to power, an insurrectionary act in and of itself. The basic idea is to enhance executive branch power in the hands of the president with neither checks nor balances. Among Trump’s goals are defunding the Justice Department and dismantling the FBI, breaking up Homeland Security and doing away with Education and Commerce. The president would take complete control of the independent agencies like the Federal Communications Commission, which sets the rules for television and internet.

Here’s exactly what Trump commented:

“Do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION? A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,” Trump wrote in a post on the social network Truth Social and accused “Big Tech” of working closely with Democrats. “Our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!”

If the elections are fraud and there is no constitutional remedy, do we not change the Constitution?

But it gets better. Because the author wants career bureaucrats to maintain the ability to depose a sitting president.

On the eve of the 2020 election, Trump, in a dead giveaway of what he has in mind, signed an executive order creating the possibility of firing federal employees in policy positions “at will.” The order was a self-evident attempt to politicize the civil service, an expression of Trump’s paranoia about a “deep state” that was out to get him.

This measure would allow Trump to fire career employees he believed weren’t loyal to him, like FBI agents who were investigating him or Justice Department lawyers who insisted he toe the line. Fortunately it didn’t happen, because Biden was elected and one of the first steps he took in office was to rescind the executive order.

What should happen to rogue FBI agents, like those who worked under Comey? And what about the rest of the swamp rats who gleefully participated in the coup or watch silently as it occurred?

The case has been made for retribution. Still, that’s not what Trump seeks. Nevertheless what he does seek is accountability.

These Leftist wackos reveal their sinister plans openly. The author knows Trump state of mind. And claims getting even represents the centerpiece of Trump’s campaign. Next, he references a Post story that “paints a terrifying picture, detailing some of the dangerous ideas Trump and his allies have floated”. My comments are italicized:

  • Appoint a special prosecutor to “go after” President Biden and his family, based on unsupported allegations of corruption. Warranted, as all the evidence suggests.
  • Investigate people whom he appointed who have become critical of his performance in office. I don’t see a reference link backing up this statement.
  • Close the separation between the White House and the Justice Department that prevents presidents from using prosecutions as a tool for political advantage or personal revenge. I’m guessing the author means like that of Biden and Merrick Garland?
  • Draft an executive order permitting the military to be deployed in the United States pursuant to the Insurrection Act, so soldiers could be used against the protests that would be certain to break out if he were reelected. Laughable, given Ft. Pelosi and the J6 political prisoners.

The author proves my points about Leftists, unwittingly.

As Trump himself said in New Hampshire last month: “This is third-world country stuff, ‘arrest your opponent.’ And that means I can do that, too.”

So it’s ok for Biden to actually do it. But Trump can’t reference turnabout being fair play? Good luck selling that. The public recognizes what’s happening.
