It’s clear that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is being pushed aside for Nikki Haley. Is it real or is it fake?
The powers-that-be who make up the RINO faction of the Uniparty failed in their attempt to get Trump. They enlisted Trump’s VP to take him down. For those who don’t remember Trump’s VP, don’t feel bad. Few people remember Mike Pence. No matter, because Pence failed miserably, and was the first contender to drop out.
Simply put, if Trump’s second-in-command can’t beat him then others need to do the same. But the RINOs had a trick up their sleeves. Take a successful governor, and make him appear presidential. Ron DeSantis was an ideal choice. On paper.
He kept Florida open during the scamdemic, and he showcase the accoutrements of conservatism well. That should be all it takes to dethrone the man the Uniparty thought they had destroyed in 2020.
So what happened to DeSantis?
That’s a long list. So let me shorten the items by saying that DeSantis suffered from Scott Walker Syndrome.
During the 2016 Presidential campaign, Walker was touted as a potential conquering hero. But after only two months he dropped out of the race. He seemed to think that being president was a formality. I get the same feeling from DeSantis.
Too many rich fat cats made him believe that they could buy the presidency for him.
Outside of jockeying among each other, no significant changes are happening. Trump maintains a more than comfortable lead over the pack. And Trump has a huge stylistic advantage: he’s free to screw up.
Trump’s antics are well-known. He’s brash, boorish, and brazen. And boy can he brag. But that’s why he’s loved.
Trump brags about his work and what he plans to do to help Americans. And he has the track record to prove it. So his supporters don’t care about the things other politicos and the media want us to care about. But other candidates can’t get away with Trump’s moves. They get far more scrutiny.
DeSantis has tried it on multiple occasions. He just can’t pull it off. It comes off clumsy. After a series of disastrous media appearances, RINO elitists shifted gear and began making overtures to other candidates.
Rumors circulated that VA Governor Youngkin might join the fray. He declined. My bet is that Youngkin weighed his chances and wanted no part of facing Trump.
The Uniparty’s next move was to prop up another loser. Enter Nikki Haley, stage left.
Nikki Haley has no chance of beating Trump. So now they plot to make it appear as though Nikki Haley offers Republicans the better chance of beating Biden.
The odds may still be stacked against her in the Republican primary. But should former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley capture the nomination, a stunning new poll suggests the general election would be a cakewalk for her.
According to a new poll from the Wall Street Journal out Saturday, Haley — in a hypothetical one-on-one matchup with President Joe Biden — currently has a remarkable 17-point lead, 51-34. Should the matchup materialize and the margin hold, it would represent the largest winning general margin since 1984 — when former President Ronald Reagan topped Walter Mondale by 18 points.
Any sane person must ask himself, “How can Haley barely cracks double-digits of support with Republicans garner enough Leftist votes to beat Biden by 17 points?”
Answer: It’s a statistical impossibility, and more proof of how stupid Democrats think we are.
What level of desperation must you have to push this BS. Furthermore, anybody willing to trade Haley for Trump is not a true conservative. And I assure you that most Republicans won’t trade in their tested champion against a DC sellout and conservative fraud.
They try this on the heels of Haley being destroyed in the last debate. Watch the look on Haley’s face as Vivek Ramaswamy eviscerates her:
That is not the look of a winner. And that’s why Haley is wearing the look. LO-SER.
The Journal poll doesn’t explain why Haley fares so much better than Trump, though it recognizes that Trump would defeat Biden as well. And it even gives DeSantis a bit of wiggle room.
While the Journal poll makes Haley an overwhelming favorite against Biden, it also shows former President Donald Trump faring well in his own right. The survey gives Trump a 4-point advantage over Biden, 47-43. It even finds that if Trump were convicted of a felony (he has been charged with 91 felony counts in four criminal prosecutions), he would still only trail Biden by a single point. The poll puts Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) dead even with Biden at 45-45.
Repeating the narrative, with Haley on the ticket Republicans are a shoe-in to regain the White House. Republicans only get a slight advantage if Trump gets the nod. And finally, with DeSantis it’s a toss-up.
In other words, forget the reality of the polls. Also, forget Trump’s appeal, the growing number of people from the other side abandoning Democrats, some joining Trump. Forget Trump’s huge fundraising machine that currently receives minuscule help from Republicans. And what of Trump’s massive Republican support? Don’t believe your lying eyes. There’s only one choice for Republicans, according to the elites who funded this poll.
Now, Nikki Haley has one job. Beat Trump.
Of course, in order for that matchup to happen, Haley would have to beat former President Donald Trump in the Republican primary — and the most recent polls still show her trailing in that contest by 40 points or more.
Polls like this are meant to show Trump’s vulnerabilities. After all, everybody hates Trump, right?
But there is another burning question. How does Haley match up against other Democrats?
I’d bet you that many Democrats won’t fare so poorly against Nikki Haley. Just Biden. How would Gavin Newsom compare to Nikki Haley? Or others? Let’s see that poll. And you can bet that those polls exist.
