Everyone knows that kids have a better chance when raised by two parents, but sometimes the love and self-sacrifice of a mother can overcome the barriers that come in a single parent household.
While feminist on the Left will extol women like Hillary Clinton, those feminist mothers can’t hold a candle to a REAL mother.
Kevin Durant’s mother overcame all odds to raise her son right, even going hungry so he could eat. She missed a lot of sleep to make sure he was on top of his game. So when it was time to accept his award for Most Valuable Player in the NBA this season, Kevin Durant paid tribute to his mother.
The sad news is that there are far too few of these types of mothers raising young black men. But thank God they do still exist.
