Leftists force sanity all over the country, as their hoodlums burn, loot, maim, and kill. Innocent people die due to the lack of leadership of Democrat mayors and governors.
Clearly, the chickens of Leftism returned to roost. And now that the ramifications hit home, Leftists are finally concerned.
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot encountered the zombie apocalypse, when they attempted to march down her street. Taking no chances of getting her house burned to the ground, Lightfoot commandeered the police. They were ordered to prevent Antifa and BLM goons from getting near the mayor’s residence.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot adamantly defended on Thursday a beefed-up police presence outside her home, saying extra officers were necessary to protect her and her family.
“Given the threats that I have received, given the threats to my home and my family, I’m going to do everything to make sure that they are protected,” Lightfoot said, though she declined to elaborate on the threats. “I make no apologies whatsoever for that.”
It was not immediately known how much the extra security detail cost taxpayers, how often officers are on the block, or whether officers were being transferred from other parts of the city.

Lightfoot’s comments followed a Chicago Tribune report that the police department directed officers to arrest protesters on the block where she lives if they do not disperse when ordered to do so, saying that she concluded such a move was necessary after talking to mayors in other cities about problems they’d had.
“Seeing the kind of things they have done to them and their families, I’m not going to let that happen,” said Lightfoot, who has repeatedly voiced her support for peaceful protests around the city. “That’s not what my wife and my child signed up for. It’s not what my neighbors signed up for. We have a right in our home to live in peace.”
So Lightfoot was protecting the peace and tranquility of her neighbors? You buy that?
Nice try, Lightfoot.
Like Pelosi getting her hair done under lockdown, Lightfoot proves that Leftist elitists put their own welfare and safety above others. Adding police presence had nothing to do with Lightfoot’s neighbors.
Oh the irony. Calling in the “bad guys” to protect her. And here I thought cops hunted and killed blacks? They have a high-profile Negro and do nothing to her? The black Leftists’ “defund the police” mayor appears to have a double-standard.
Moreover, why hasn’t Lightfoot offered the same police protection and support to high crime areas of Chicago? I don’t know the area, but I suspect Lightfoot’s neighborhood is safer than most. Thus, I don’t expect to see many of the routine shootings and murders in Chicago happening in her hood.
Yet, week after week an epidemic in murder occurs in Chicago. But instead of protecting the cities’ citizens most vulnerable to crime, Lightfoot redirects police to protect her home.
Things are so bad in Leftist-controlled cities that some now speak out.
Portland’s police chief finally denounced rioters who broke windows and set fires. But it took rioters targeting a business in the upscale apartment building where Mayor Ted Wheeler lives to get the reaction.
Demonstrations targeted Wheeler. Because his duty is not solely as mayor, but also police commissioner. The rioters criticized Wheeler for police tactics of using tear gas against violent rioters. So they set fire to Wheeler’s building using bundled newspapers.
Don’t expect things to stop there. Because as Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris expressed that she hopes the riots will continue.
Democrats organized and funded these protests. All with the hope of beating Donald Trump. A failure of cataclysmic proportions.
There is no way Democrats can assign this to President Trump. And Biden’s campaign will never walk back Harris’ comments.
All they have left to do is eat that crow.
