Fingers are starting to point in the direction of Obama. What did he know about Biden’s crooked deals?
Recall that Obama recommended that Biden not run for the presidency.
The most surprising part of the Times story though is how Obama has on multiple occasions tried to dissuade Biden from running for president. First, in 2016, Obama pressured Biden to sit out the race because he believed Hillary Clinton was the best shot at continuing his legacy. Even though that didn’t pan out for Obama, he still tried to talk Biden out of running in 2020. Per the Times:
Since announcing his candidacy, Biden has proven himself exceptionally gaffe-prone, repeatedly referring to former British prime minister Theresa May as Margaret Thatcher, claiming he was vice president during the 2017 high school shooting in Parkland, Florida, and saying, “Poor kids are just as bright, just as talented, as white kids,” at a speech in Iowa. Apart from making verbal stumbles, he’s also defended his working relationship with segregationists in Congress.
The Times also reports that in March, Obama summoned Biden’s top campaign advisers, Anita Dunn and Kate Bedingfield, to his Washington office. Multiple sources confirmed to the Times that the ex-president warned the advisers to make sure that Biden doesn’t “embarrass himself” or “damage his legacy.”
Is this what Obama was afraid of? That Biden would damage Obama’s legacy by unintentionally exposing the administrations dirty deeds?
It seems that the administration gave quite a lot of back channel support to Team Biden. The New York Post’s explosive story on this subject explains:
The Obama administration let a Democratic p.r. company that worked for Ukrainian energy firm Burisma take part in a conference call about an upcoming visit to Ukraine by then-Vice President Joe Biden, emails obtained by The Post show.
An associate at Blue Star Strategies then emailed a memo with minutes of the conference call hosted by the White House to a top Burisma executive, Vadym Pozharskyi, as well as to Joe Biden’s son Hunter and Hunter’s business partner, Devon Archer, both of whom sat on Burisma’s board.
The trip, in December 2015, turned out to be the one during which Biden later bragged about forcing Ukrainian officials to fire a state prosecutor who was investigating Burisma by threatening to withhold a $1 billion US loan guarantee.
The memo, sent shortly after the Dec. 2, 2015, call, also “outlined the trip’s agenda and addressed several questions regarding US policy toward Ukraine.”
Blue Star has said it began working for Burisma and contacting Ukrainian officials on its behalf in November 2015, and an email shows that on Nov. 18, 2015, Pozharskyi sent the Blue Star contract to Hunter Biden, Archer and Eric Schwerin, president of the Rosemont Seneca Partners investment firm.
How many other scoops will the New York Post get before the fake news media decides to cover this?
I bet the Post’s website blew up over this story. They say that tweeting of the story crippled Twitter with “technical issues”, besides Twitter’s attempt to suppress or even kill the story.
Curiously, where was the New York Times? The Washington Post?
Apparently these two Leftist rags were too busy writing puff pieces for Biden-Harris. Or trying to cover up the myriad of lies that now begin to see the light of day as October surprises.
The Post article continues:
“Could you kindly have BS countersign it and forward back to me?” Pozharskyi wrote. “I am kindly asking you to schedule either a conf call or advise us as to the foreseen action plan for November-December 2015, and if anything has been already done by BS, could kindly you ask them to share with us this information?”
Interesting that a meeting occurs at the White House with Obama’s knowledge. A PR firm who’s job was to stay ahead of the known conflict of interest. A conflict Obama knew existed from the beginning.
But what could Obama do? After all, he was getting paid.
Green energy companies, book deals, and a host of other payola made the Obamas the biggest rise from poverty to prosperity in presidential history.
Who knows how much direct involvement Obama had in this deal. But that doesn’t matter. Because all of this happened on his watch. And I predict Obama will show some real separation between him and his demented former Vice President soon. Obama is due to campaign with Biden or for Biden. Watch how Obama campaigns as an indicator of who is getting jettisoned. That’s if Obama campaigns at all for Biden at this point.
If Obama does indeed campaign for Biden, it may be for political expediency. Lord knows, they need a Biden win, badly. Still, there is danger in staying too close to the Biden blast zone. Thus, I predict Obama will begin putting Biden at arm’s length soon. Ultimately, he will create plausible deniability. Biden will soon find himself as odd man out. But that’s a spot he’s used to.
