Hillary’s lawyers are grasping at straws. They don’t want to face Donald Trump in court. But they will have no choice once a judge throws out their latest gimmick.
The suits just begged a federal judge to throw out Trump’s lawsuit. But Trump might just get his day of justice, as he’s suing Clinton and the DNC for conspiring against him in 2016.
We know it’s true. Now we just need the judge to agree. And I don’t think you can count on Trump to plea this one out. There will be no “art of the deal,” as Trump is ready to take the gloves off and go the full twelve rounds to validate the true inner workings of the 2016 election.
Last week, Hillary’s lawyers tried hard to get the case dismissed, but failed. At the moment, I wrote:
To be honest, it often feel like the Clintons escape the consequences of their actions over and over again. As if they’ve operated above the law since they were in diapers. However, there are glimmers of hope starting to appear.
One of those glimmers came in a package all wrapped up from John Durham. He promised to release documents that directly tie Clinton to the Steele Dossier and the fact that it was a complete fabrication of bullshit.
As we previously explained, “in December 2019, Justice Dept. Inspector General Michael Horowitz concluded that the Steele dossier played a “central and essential” role in the FBI’s decision to launch a counterintelligence operation against the 2016 Trump campaign.” In an effort to unravel this tangled mess of deception, Michael Sussman came under fire. Sussman, lawyer to crooked Hillary Clinton, texted the same lie he was pedaling in person. And now he wants to be let off the hook. I mean, what lawyer doesn’t lie?
Unfortunately for Sussman, the judge didn’t agree. Yet, the lawyers weren’t ready to give up on a dismissal.
According to the New York Post:
Hillary Clinton asked a federal court Wednesday to throw out a lawsuit from former President Donald Trump that accuses her and the Democratic National Committee of conspiring against him to smear his 2016 campaign.
Clinton’s attorneys said Trump’s $24 million lawsuit that claims an “unthinkable plot” to “cripple” his bid for the presidency and paint his campaign as colluding with Russia had no legal basis, according to a motion filed in US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
“Whatever the utility of Plaintiff’s Complaint as a fundraising tool, a press release, or a list of political grievances, it has no merit as a lawsuit and should be dismissed with prejudice,” the 22-page court filing said.
In a 108-page complaint filed last month, Trump claimed Clinton and others orchestrated a plan to manufacture the Russia scandal to ruin his candidacy in 2016, when he was running as a Republican candidate against Clinton.
Clinton, the former Secretary of State and first lady, worked with others as the then-Democratic nominee for president to allegedly falsify evidence to spark federal investigations in a ploy he called “so outrageous, subversive and incendiary that even the events of Watergate pale in comparison,” Trump’s suit says.
He Has No Proof!
Of course the crooked Clinton cried foul. Thus, her attorneys pretend there’s no proof of the real Russian collusion- where Hillary tried to discredit Trump and set him up. They also added that Trump “hadn’t adequately proven that their client was involved in any alleged plot – and even if she was, the statute of limitations would have passed on some of the events.”
They pointed to a series of tweets by Trump in October 2017 when he blamed Clinton for the infamous Steele Dossier and complained about a lack of investigation, writing “DO SOMETHING.”
“But notwithstanding his rousing, all-caps call to action, Plaintiff waited four years, four months, and twenty-four days before filing suit,” Clinton’s attorneys wrote. “His delay renders each of his claims untimely.”
Trump’s claims under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations, or RICO, had a four-year statute as did claims of conspiracy to commit injurious falsehood and conspiracy to commit malicious prosecution, Clinton’s attorneys said.
If a judge were to grant dismissal of Clinton from the suit, it may not affect the other defendants, including former DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Christopher Steele. The other named defendants haven’t yet formally filed responses to the suit with the court.
Russia’s interference in the 2016 election has long been a point of contention between Trump and Democrats, and was the subject of his unsuccessful first impeachment. A 2020 report from the Republican-led Senate Select Committee on Intelligence found Russia “engaged in an aggressive, multifaceted effort to influence, or attempt to influence, the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.”
Tragically, Democrats have gotten away with their skullduggery for decades.
Furthermore, the last two presidential elections prove that leftists don’t even consider doing the right thing. It’s literally a foreign concept among Democrats. They’re always locked and loaded with the next underhanded plan. But I have a strong suspicion that the next two elections will prove conservatives are fed up. And they’re ready to make the big moves to expose the truth. And something about the very word “truth” just rubs Hillary all the wrong ways.
