It’s always been hard to be a Trump insider. Because leftists pursue all-things-Trump relentlessly.
Now, they’ve decided one no longer has the right to stand his ground, as the DOJ wants to see Bannon serve jail time. For what, exactly? Resisting the Jan 6th committee and all the BS it encompasses. In fact, the DOJ wants the War Room host to serve 6 months in jail and pay a $200,000 fine.
If only leftists were punished for their actual crimes against America the same way Conservatives are punished for invoking the rights guaranteed by the Constitution of this country!
While Democrats sit by and watch protesters burn cities down, loot, rob people, and destroy millions of dollars worth of property, Bannon was actually convicted of “Contempt of Congress” this summer for his refusal to comply with a subpoena. And according to the DOJ, this was a “bad-faith strategy of defiance and contempt.”
The DOJ also complains that “to this day the Defendant has not produced a single document to the Committee or appeared for testimony. For his sustained, bad-faith contempt of Congress, the Defendant should be sentenced to six months’ imprisonment—the top end of the Sentencing Guidelines’ range—and fined $200,000—based on his insistence on paying the maximum fine rather than cooperate with the Probation Office’s routine pre-sentencing financial investigation.”
What made Bannon the scapegoat?
Bannon’s real crime in all this was that he actually made a prediction on his show on Jan. 5th, saying “All Hell is going to break loose tomorrow!”, which is a prediction many people make every second of every day. Further, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that a cheat of this magnitude is going to anger the country. And rightfully so.

Anti-Trump neocon Liz Cheney and Democrat Rep. Bennie G. Thompson, chairs of the committee, had celebrated Bannon’s conviction in a joint statement after he was found guilty.
“The conviction of Steve Bannon is a victory for the rule of law and an important affirmation of the Select Committee’s work,” Thompson and Cheney said in a joint statement at the time. “Just as there must be accountability for all those responsible for the events of January 6th, anyone who obstructs our investigation into these matters should face consequences.”
Ironically, Hunter Biden has yet to face charges for his reprehensible behaviors, from crack pipes and hookers to selling access to the President of the United States. I smell more than one felony in there somewhere. And what of all the power players who liked to hang out on Epstein Island? Like Bill Gates and Bill Clinton? Are we to believe they were innocent bystanders to countless acts of sex trafficking? But that’s the leftist hypocrisy in action.
