The implosion of Titan, OceanGate’s ill-fated submersible epitomizes Leftism. And here’s how.
Let me begin my explanation by saying this really isn’t a story. So what some rich white “woke” Leftist built a substandard watercraft to see remnants of an old ship. People die every day for stupid reasons. But the media decided the world needs to know about a failed expedition?
It’s not like we haven’t seen the remains of the Titanic before. No new ground was covered. But we are supposed to celebrate this expedition?
Was this guy going to open a shopping mall 12,000 feet below the surface of the ocean? Was Hamilton playing in the theater of the rusted remains of the Titanic? What prompted this doomed mission? Nothing.
And that’s all it takes for Leftists to begin a project. The project doesn’t need a reason. In fact, the less the project actually matters, the more Leftists want to undertake it.
Remember the Titanic
I’m paraphrasing a message from a friend who sent a reminder of how the Titanic was sunk. In his message he “white ‘splained” the sinking of the Titanic. And I’m happy he got me up to speed. I learned from him that the sinking of the Titanic was a result of white racism. No black passengers were on the manifest of the Titanic. Hell, even “woke” Hollywood refused to put a black aristocrat in the movie.
My friend further reminded me of the fact that in not one scene from the movie nor in the historical reference is the mention of watermelon. Clear evidence of racism.
The linkage from the Titanic to the Titan is clear. The OceanGate Titan sub disaster is obviously linked to Jim Crow. If you can’t see this, then you are obviously a racist and you don’t see the white rage. What color was the Titan? White.
No blacks or Hispanics were on board.
The Woke Titan
CEO of OceanGate, Stockton Rush was one innovative Leftist. And he picked one innovative way to die.
Rush built his own though others exist. Good submersibles. Ones used all the time by oceanographers, the military, and so on. But Rush declared in an interview, [pp] “I don’t want a bunch of 50-year old white men who actually built submarines and understand oceanography. Instead, I want to help youngsters with little to no experience with submarines design my vehicle.”
Moreover, Rush bragged at the notion that he designed his submarine based on aviation and not oceanography. To put this another way, it would be like an airplane designer using a boat as his inspiration.
Next, Rush spoke on innovation. So what the experts he refused to hire based their designs on science. They innovated each new generation of product based on actual field knowledge. Too bad they were mostly 50-year old white experts.
Would you have joined this voyage after learning about his approach?
What did it cost to build this death trap? The Titan was a floating coffin, from the jump.
Yet, Rush convinced himself that he was about to embark on some mystical, magical adventure. And adventure to nothing. He didn’t need to spend a dime to YouTube video of the Titanic. Or live vicariously through James Cameron, director of the film.
Those options cost nothing. But Rush spent millions building a submersible sarcophagus. For what? To see what he could see for free.
And as you consider the futility of Rush’s adventure, understand metaphorically that Titan represents America so-called racism problem. it also represents the Lefts’ obsession with transexuals, global climate farce, and so on.
Their project cost massive amounts of money and solved no problems. Yet, like with Titan, Leftists stay in the news.
What went down
A joyous day, the people on the Titan likely thought. After all, they were making history? Or not.
While I feel sorrow for Rush, the idealist who pursued nothing, I feel more sorrow for the people he convinced to join him. He sold this pipe dream. And as Titan approached “crush depth”, I’m sure these people lamented their choice.
The vessel was creaking and moaning with each foot, as the X-box controller failed to propel the vessel upward. One final moan, and the implosion.
Their only solace; death came quickly.
The $10 controller
I have no idea what caused the Titan to fail. But I heard the controller failed. And what a metaphor that presents. Because for Leftist America, Biden is their $10 controller.
How is that working out for them? While Titan represents a complete failure, its implosion pales in comparison to Biden.
Titan’s design was seriously flawed. But compared to Biden, Titan was fit as a fiddle. Biden has dementia and is a pathological liar. He’s unaccomplished politically and is about to get indicted for him many crimes.
The Left’s $10 controller busted. And their version of Titan sinks further into the ocean every day. Next step, crush depth.
