Democrats never fail to astonish the sane. Understanding them would require a walk on the demented side, and frankly, most of us value our mental health too much for that. Still, their latest escapade on illegal immigration takes the cake.
Let’s start with the basics: all illegals are criminals. Yet, among this group, we have what Hillary Clinton once called “super predators.” Think of them as the VIPs of villainy—violent offenders who commit heinous crimes. Common sense dictates these individuals should be the first on the deportation bus. But no, not according to over 159 House Democrats who voted against the Laken Reilly Act requiring the deportation of violent illegal offenders.
Who does this? Better question: Why?
These aren’t jaywalkers or overdue library book borrowers. These are violent criminals who Democrats not only refuse to deport but actively protect. Sanctuary cities? Try “supervillain safe havens.”
Some Democratic leaders even prevent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from detaining these offenders. Why would anyone want violent criminals roaming the streets? Maybe it’s because chaos serves their political agenda, but the rest of us call it what it is: pure insanity.
Even Senator John Fetterman—a man who sometimes struggles with basic communication—understands this issue. He recently lamented that the Senate couldn’t muster at least seven Democrats to join Republicans in supporting the deportation of the most dangerous offenders. If he gets it, what’s the excuse for the rest?
NEW: John Fetterman says if Democrats can’t get 7 votes in the Senate to pass the Laken Riley Act, then “that’s the reason why we lost.”

Trump Team Means Business
President Trump and his team, however, are taking this issue seriously. His border czar is poised to clean house, and Stephen Miller, his proposed Deputy Chief of Staff, is not pulling punches. Miller’s organization, America First Legal (AFL), recently sent warnings to leaders of 249 so-called sanctuary jurisdictions. The message was crystal clear:
“Federal law is clear: aliens unlawfully present in the United States are subject to removal… It is a crime to conceal, harbor, or shield them.”
Under the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution, these federal laws override any state or local defiance. Translation? Your sanctuary policies aren’t worth the paper they’re written on.

Former ICE Director Tom Homan has also issued stark warnings to sanctuary city leaders. In one infamous case, the mayor of Denver, after some chest-pounding about defying federal law, quickly folded when Homan turned up the heat. Turns out, jail time isn’t a fun prospect—even for virtue-signaling mayors.
But here’s the real kicker: Miller and team are proposing that victims of crimes by illegal immigrants be allowed to sue cities and their officials who shield these criminals. Imagine the panic that will cause in sanctuary city halls across the country. Suddenly, “welcoming the world” comes with a price tag—one paid directly by the enablers of criminality.
Democrats vs. Americans
Democrats claim to champion the oppressed, but their actions say otherwise. Their loyalty lies with violent criminals over law-abiding citizens. They’d rather see Americans victimized than lose their grip on a political narrative that prioritizes open borders over public safety.
If America culls illegals from the census, these illegal sanctuary states would lose representatives. Don’t believe me, just check out the fact-checkers. They all claim that illegals have no bearing on apportionment. Which means these states would have definitely lose House seats.
As Trump’s team continues to clean house, Americans can take heart knowing that someone finally has their back. Because in a sane world, the only place for violent criminals—illegal or otherwise—is either behind bars or far, far away.
