Charlie Kirk is dead. Shot in the neck at point-blank range from 200 yards away, collapsing in a pool of his own blood on the campus of Utah Valley University.
A 31-year-old husband, father of two young children, and relentless seeker of truth—gone. His wife and kids were there, witnessing the horror as a deranged assassin, molded by years of Democratic-fueled indoctrination and leftist vitriol, pulled the trigger. This wasn’t random violence; it was a political execution, a stark testament to the barbaric underbelly of the radical left. And let’s be clear: this vile killer is the Frankenstein’s monster created by Democrats, who have spent decades cultivating hate in our universities and neighborhoods. Democrats taught these monsters to despise conservatives like Charlie, to see us as existential threats worthy of extermination. Now, one of their creations has struck, and the blood of a good man stains their hands.
I knew Charlie well. We were friends, collaborators in the fight for America’s soul.
Our organizations launched around the same time. As his organization blossomed, he asked me for counsel from time to time, even as I was shadowed banned and otherwise marginalized by the Left.
I discussed with him his vision for Turning Point USA (TPUSA), and he listened, at critical junctures. I certainly don’t credit myself for his success. People like Gary Rabine, his first funder and Foster and Lynn Friess certainly were responsible for that. But there was also Charlie.
He was a mental giant, and gracious. Charlie rarely if ever mocked the left even as they spewed venom at him. He loved doing the college events, and at one point we were considering doing more of them together. That got derailed when Fox News fired me unceremoniously for telling the truth.
Ironically, we were both invited to an event in Utah in February, the very state where he met his end.
I worked closely with Charlie up to the point of my dismissal from Fox News. But I encouraged him to press on, as TPUSA pivoted from student activism to empowering Black communities and ultimately embracing faith.
He poured his soul into the search for truth, which ultimately led him to a deeper relationship with God. His wife Erika and their children adored him; we all did. When the news broke, my wife called me: “Charlie got shot!” I hoped that his wounds weren’t life-threatening. Next, my son, knowing our bond, called, and had an update. He asked if I had seen the video. I said, “No,” but I demanded he give me his assessment. My son said sadly, “Dad, there is no way Charlie survives this.” He then sent the video.
I watched it. I saw the bullet hit, and his head recoil. I wish I could unsee it. I watched blood gushing from his neck—and I broke down. I had watched my friend die.
I showed the video to my wife and we cried together. Our friend was gone. We had flown with Charlie to Florida for an event, and gotten together a few times over the years. We were devastated. My wife said she felt “bitter and broken”.
It’s all God’s plan.
I expected Charlie to be president one day. His work at TPUSA had been elevated over the last few years, and he helped President Trump get elected. And while Charlie will never hold his kids or his wife again, God has a purpose for his work. I pray for his family and others who miss him, as Democrats I know will mock my “thoughts and prayers”.
But make no mistake: this is on the Democrats and their violent progeny.
The shooting happened on September 10, 2025, during TPUSA’s “American Comeback Tour” at Utah Valley University. Charlie was under a white tent, engaging a crowd of about 3,000 students in his signature “Prove Me Wrong” format. He was fielding questions on mass shootings when an audience member asked: “Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years?”
Charlie replied, “Too many,” as the crowd applauded.
Moments later, a single rifle shot rang out from the roof of the nearby Losee Center. He clutched his neck, fell limp, and was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. But it was too late; he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The FBI, under Director Kash Patel, confirmed a suspect was in custody—a person of interest described by Utah Governor Spencer Cox as tied to this “political assassination.”
Eyewitnesses described chaos: students fleeing, security scrambling, and Charlie’s family watching in horror. The shooter, clad in dark clothing, fired from an elevated position, exploiting the light security presence—six university officers plus Charlie’s team. This was no accident; it was premeditated murder, born from the toxic brew of leftist ideology that Democrats have stirred for years.
Who is this assassin?
While full details are emerging, early reports point to a radical leftist activist, steeped in the anti-conservative rhetoric peddled by Democratic leaders and their media allies. This isn’t speculation—it’s the pattern. For now, I don’t even want to know, because nothing should be taken away from our focus on Charlie for now.
But what we do know is the left has created a generation of monsters, born and bred with Leftist ideology in our colleges and universities. Then the media and people like Colbert, Kimmel, DeNiro, and many others foment hate.
Overlay Democratic voting demographics with prison populations, and you get a near-100% match: the same deranged cohort that riots, loots, and assassinates. They’ve been taught to hate without reason, to view conservatives as oppressors deserving death. And happily have funded it all—paying union thugs, BLM arsonists, Antifa street warriors. Billions in damages from 2020 riots, paid agitators on the dole, yet they finger-point at legal gun owners and MAGA patriots. We harm no one. Name the last time a conservative killed a Leftist over politics? You can’t, because our violence is nonexistent. But theirs? It’s epidemic.
This assassination fits a horrifying pattern of leftist aggression against conservatives. Recall Steve Scalise, the Republican House Whip, gunned down on June 14, 2017, during a charity baseball practice. His shooter? James Hodgkinson, a rabid Bernie Sanders supporter, inflamed by Democratic rhetoric branding Republicans as evil. Scalise nearly died, requiring multiple surgeries, his life hanging by a thread. Did Democrats dial back the hate? Hell no—they amplified it, calling for more blood.
Then there’s Donald Trump, the man Charlie adored and worked tirelessly to elect.
On July 13, 2024, in Butler, Pennsylvania, a leftist-leaning gunman, Thomas Crooks, grazed the president’s ear with a bullet. Trump defiantly raised his fist—”Fight!”—but the left cheered online, wishing for his demise. Two attempts on his life in 2024 alone, both rooted in the same Democratic poison. And now Charlie, silenced mid-sentence for daring to speak truth. These aren’t coincidences; they’re the fruits of a party that pays for chaos while preaching peace. Democrats own this violence; they’ve incubated it in every radical enclave.
Worse still is the ignored transgender crime wave Charlie was exposing when he was murdered. The media blackouts and leftist suppression of this truth are criminal. Let’s list the recent cases they bury: In March 2023, Audrey Hale—a transgender man—stormed Nashville’s Covenant School, killing six, including three children, in an anti-Christian rampage. The manifesto screamed leftist motives, yet the press downplayed the gender angle. May 2019, STEM School Highlands Ranch, Colorado: Transgender shooter Alec McKinney and accomplice killed one, injured eight—ideology ignored. September 2018, Aberdeen, Maryland: Snochia Moseley, identifying as trans, murdered three at a Rite Aid. January 2024, Perry High School, Iowa: Non-binary Dylan Butler killed two. November 2022, Club Q, Colorado Springs: Non-binary Anderson Aldrich killed five at an LGBTQ+ club—twisted, but fits the suppressed narrative. Stats show elevated violence risks in trans communities, yet leftists howl “transphobia” if mentioned. Charlie called it out graciously; they killed him for it. Like Dave Chappelle, attacked onstage for trans jokes, now under heavy guard. Proud of Dave for not backing down, but it could cost him his life—just like it did Charlie. Democrats shield this epidemic, funding the mental health denial and ideological radicalization that breeds killers.
The Left’s war extends to symbols of conservative success, like Tesla and Elon Musk.
As a Trump ally, Musk has faced relentless violence: In 2024, vandals slashed Supercharger cables in Seattle; arson hit his German factory. By 2025, it’s escalated—Molotov cocktails at dealerships, cars torched in Las Vegas and Seattle, graffiti screaming “F— Musk” and “Elon is a Nazi.” Seven charging stations burned outside Boston; Cybertrucks set ablaze in Seattle. Road rage against “MAGA” vehicles, death threats spiking post-X rebrand. This is Leftist eco-terrorism, targeting innovation because it’s tied to conservatives. Democrats enable it, then blame “right-wing extremism.” Hypocrites.
Conservatives are the most ostracized minority in America, hunted by a deranged faction the Democrats have weaponized. I’ve faced threats in ten lifetimes—the danger is real. The violent left dominates campuses, and Leftist culture. It was only a matter of time.
I repeat–Democrats must own this. They incite the hate, then deflect. No more.
Charlie’s death demands accountability. President Trump will react—brutally for the Left, I can only hope. Charlie’s legacy? A seismic shift against this madness.
What organizations like mine and Charlie’s do isn’t a joke. Death threats are real; the bigger you rise, the deadlier the target. Leftists scream to kill MAGA hat wearers. Videos abound of their calls for blood.
I won’t see my friend in UT in February. Or ever again. God has a different purpose, though I remain furious, seeking that purpose amid grief. But one thing’s clear: the Left’s insanity ends here. No more martyrs. We fight back, expose their evil, and protect our own. Charlie Kirk’s blood cries out for justice. Democrats, your monsters have devoured one of ours. Repent, or face the reckoning.
