BLM Will Finally Be Gone in 2026

There is an old saying that deserves a permanent place on the Left’s family crest: scratch a lie and you find a thief.

It applies with surgical precision to modern Democrats and the alphabet soup of activist groups they protect, defend, and fund like prized show horses. Lie loudly, accuse others of bigotry, and keep your hand deep in the till while nobody is allowed to ask questions. If you want a case study so clean it could be taught in business school under “How Not to Run a Nonprofit,” look no further than Black Lives Matter.

Democrats didn’t just support BLM. They baptized it. They anointed it morally untouchable, elevated it above criticism, and weaponized it against anyone reckless enough to say something as radical as “all lives matter.” Imagine that. You weren’t attacked for hating Black people. You were attacked for refusing to rank human beings by race. That alone should have told you this wasn’t about justice. It was about power, money, and the silencing of dissent.

BLM was founded on a lie. Actually, it was founded on several, stacked together like a Jenga tower built by activists with a grant application due.

The cornerstone lie was born in Ferguson, Missouri. Michael Brown Jr. did not have his hands up. He did not get executed for “walking while Black”. Brown attacked a police officer and paid the price for it.

The Obama Justice Department eventually admitted this, quietly, after the riots had already burned half of the country and the media had cashed its outrage checks. Brown got himself killed, and had Officer Darren Wilson not been the one he assaulted, odds are strong it would have ended with another young Black man pulling the trigger. That truth didn’t matter, because for the Left the lie was more profitable.

From there, BLM expanded the narrative. Blacks, we were told, are uniquely downtrodden; systemically blocked, and functionally incapable of navigating modern America. Leftists insisted with straight faces that Black Americans couldn’t obtain ID, couldn’t find DMV offices, and couldn’t possibly compete without the government lowering every standard in sight. This fantasy required ignoring reality, where Black Americans have achieved extraordinary success in business, entertainment, politics, academia, and the military. The problem wasn’t opportunity. The problem was a political movement that taught grievance instead of grit.

BLM gave Leftist activists a business model. Package despair. Sell outrage. Monetize tragedy. And that is exactly what happened. Ferguson was the pilot episode. George Floyd was the blockbuster sequel that broke every box office record. Once that money started rolling in, the question was never whether corruption would surface. The only question was how long Democrats could keep the lid on it.

Now the lid is off.

The first of many indictments has landed, and it didn’t come from some conservative blog or mean tweet. It came from the federal government. The leader of Black Lives Matter’s Oklahoma City chapter has been indicted on embezzlement and wire fraud charges, according to reporting from The Independent. The details are not subtle and they are not defensible. Tashella Sheri Amore Dickerson, 52, is accused of treating donated funds like a personal expense account, spending millions on international travel, groceries, and real estate after taking over the chapter in 2016. This wasn’t bookkeeping confusion. This was alleged theft on an industrial scale.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Oklahoma, Dickerson was indicted on 20 counts of wire fraud and five counts of money laundering on December 3. During her tenure, BLM OKC raised more than $5.6 million since 2020 through its affiliation with the Alliance for Global Justice. Prosecutors allege that roughly $3.5 million of that money landed directly in accounts she controlled and was used to purchase six properties deeded either to her personally or to a company she controlled. That isn’t activism. That’s allegedly real estate speculation funded by donors who thought they were supporting civil rights.

And here’s the important part: this is not the end. It’s the beginning.

If Ferguson lit the fuse, George Floyd detonated the vault. Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation Inc. admitted it took in roughly $90 million following Floyd’s death and the nationwide protests that followed. Ninety million dollars. That kind of money doesn’t vanish quietly. It leaves fingerprints, paper trails, and eventually subpoenas.

Only a month ago, federal law enforcement issued subpoenas and served at least one search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation, according to the Associated Press. The irony is thick enough to spread on toast. Legacy media rushed to claim these investigations began under Biden, as if that somehow absolves Democrats. If that’s true, the obvious question is what took so long and why nothing meaningful happened until the Trump-era Justice Department started clearing its throat.

A Biden DOJ has no appetite for prosecuting Democrat-aligned activist groups.

The optics alone would send the base into convulsions. Democrats tolerate, excuse, and even subsidize a certain level of crime in the Black community, especially when those committing it are useful for turning out votes. Accountability is bad for turnout. Prosecutions are worse. That’s why the pace changed when adults showed up.

Critics have accused BLM organizers of opacity for years, particularly after the purchase of a $6 million Los Angeles-area compound in 2022. That property, complete with six bedrooms, a swimming pool, a soundstage, and office space, was allegedly bought with donated funds. When questioned, the foundation claimed it was a campus for a Black artists fellowship. Translation services were apparently not available, because donors understood their money was meant to help communities, not bankroll influencer real estate.

A lawsuit was filed in 2022 based in part on alleged misrepresentations surrounding that purchase. And if you want to see how the system protects its own, look no further than the outcome. A judge dismissed the suit one year later, ruling that local BLM activists failed to prove entitlement to the money or that leaders had taken funds for personal gain. In other words, unless you can prove the theft with receipts signed in blood, the machine keeps rolling.

Then there’s Patrisse Cullors, one of BLM’s co-founders and perhaps the most visible example of how revolutionary rhetoric pairs beautifully with luxury living.

I wrote about her recently when news broke of her marriage dissolution and the sale of her Toronto property. Yes, Toronto. Canada. Because nothing says “fighting American oppression” like international real estate portfolios funded by white guilt.

That Toronto property was purchased through a nonprofit linked to Cullors’ wife and allegedly used for “cultural work.” In practice, that meant expensive parties, curated photo shoots, and content creation sessions that looked suspiciously like lifestyle branding. In fact, the Los Angeles home was reportedly used for “content creation” as well. Modern Marxism has evolved. The proletariat now comes with ring lights.

When Cullors was finally called out in 2021, she resigned abruptly and blamed “right-wing attacks.” Of course she did. For Leftists, accountability is never triggered by lies or misconduct. It’s always caused by the people who notice. The scam only works in the dark, and conservatives have a bad habit of turning on the lights.

BLM leadership reads like a rogue’s gallery of professional activists who confused slogans with substance and nonprofits with personal holding companies.

More indictments are coming.

They always do when money moves faster than oversight and arrogance replaces caution. America should be grateful to have an administration willing to treat ethnic grifts like any other crime. Stopping scam artists and charlatans does more for Black Americans than any DEI seminar ever could. Meritocracy doesn’t need slogans. It needs honesty.

And that’s the real tragedy here. What could $90 million have done in the Black community if it had been spent on schools, businesses, trade programs, or scholarships instead of mortgages, airfare, and Instagram-ready compounds? How many lives could have been improved if Democrats had demanded results instead of obedience?

Team Trump scratched the BLM lie and found exactly what anyone paying attention expected to find: thieves. And this time, they’re running out of places to hide. In 2026, BLM will meet its rightful end: extinction.
