You know what I love about the media these days?
They’re absolutely convinced they’re still in charge.
It’s adorable.
They’re like the mall cop giving directions after the mall closed three years ago.
“Sir, you’ll need to move your vehicle. And no, there isn’t even a Sears here anymore.”
That’s the legacy media.
They still think they decide what America talks about.
They don’t.
America decides.
The media reacts.
And nothing proves it better than what isn’t happening anymore.
Remember ICE?
Remember when every arrest was treated like the Normandy invasion?
CNN had dramatic music.
MSNBC had crying anchors.
Somebody on The View was one tissue away from needing CPR.
You would’ve thought ICE agents were kicking down the doors of orphanages.
Where are those stories now?
Where are the massive protests?
Where’s Antifa?
Where are the college students chaining themselves to Starbucks because America deported somebody with six felony convictions?
Gone.
What happened?
Did ICE stop?
No.
Did deportations stop?
No.
Did immigration suddenly become less important?
No.
What stopped…
…was the media’s ability to manufacture outrage.
That’s a huge difference.
Kevin Jackson has been called, the “white-collar” Joe Rogan. Given their similar backgrounds in TV, comedy, and martial arts, it’s easy to see why people enjoy Kevin’s show so much.
