Chuck Schumer: The Clinton Era Is Officially Over

Chuck Schumer announced the end of The Clinton Era.

Now Hillary Clinton and the rest of her corrupt family can return down their rat holes. Clinton need not worry, as she will have plenty of company soon. Including Schumer.

He said the Clintons are over without actually saying it. But the political-speak is clear. Schumer has played “cover your ass” and thrown Hillary Clinton under the bus.

As the Daily Beast reported,

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer ripped his former colleague, Hillary Clinton, over her election loss to President Donald Trump and her subsequent efforts to explain why she lost.

“When you lose to somebody who has 40 percent popularity, you don’t blame other things—Comey, Russia—you blame yourself,” Schumer told The Washington Post. “So what did we do wrong? People didn’t know what we stood for, just that we were against Trump. And still believe that.”

Schumer’s comments—referring to Clinton blaming Russian meddling and the former FBI director for her loss to Trump—come as Democrats are trying to re-brand ahead of the 2018 midterm elections. Democrats unveiled their new slogan as, “A Better Deal: Better Jobs, Better Wages, Better Future.”

Why did Schumer hit the eject button on Hillary Clinton’s seat at the table?

Simple. She and the Democratic Party are toxic.

As the article suggested, the Democrats must rebrand. And in an effort to do so, the Party needed to find a scapegoat. Despite the abject devastation caused by Obama, Democrats find themselves tied to the hip to that fraud. So, the next biggest sacred cow {snicker} turned out to be Hillary Clinton.

Letting Hillary Clinton go sends a message. And TBS documented, the Democrats’ search far and wide for their lost message.

We watched Hillary Clinton flounder around, searching for that elusive “what do I stand for” thing. In fact, there were like 84 core messages before her camp settled on the uber-lame “Stronger Together.”

That message failed miserably, as black people didn’t get the memo. But hey, no worries. The Dems’ new core message is being worked on.

NY House Dem Caucus Chairman Joe Crawley explains:

That message is being worked on. We’re doing everything we can to simplify it, but at the same time provide the meat behind it as well. So that’s coming together now.

And as the AP noted,

The admission from the No. 4 House Democrat — that his party lacks a clear, core message even amid Republican disarray — highlights the Democrats’ dilemma eight months after President Donald Trump and the GOP dominated last fall’s elections, in part, because Democrats lacked a consistent message.

Funny the Democrats just now recognize they don’t have a core message.

Now, the Democrats found their message. And it’s better!

“A Better Deal: Better Jobs, Better Wages, Better Future.”

The message is so good, that even Maxine Waters may throw her hat in the ring as a candidate in 2020.

Where could that message have been? Perhaps on the welfare lines? Or in hospital waiting rooms. Maybe they left it at the VA when they were helping veterans get off a waiting list? No, the message was located in Mexico. It had been shipped with the weapons of Fast and Furious. Or, their message could have been with Ambassador Stevens in Benghazi.

Might the message of the Democrats have been accidentally placed with the settlements paid to Michael Brown, Philando Castille, or Freddie Gray? Or the thousands of blacks killed in the inner cities by other blacks? Could the Democrats message have been captured and held hostage by Occupy Wall Street or Black Lives Matter?

Then again, the Democrats’ message might have been lost at the border, accidentally taken by an illegal. Did anybody check for the Democrats’ message at the Boston Marathon, San Bernardino or Pulse nightclub in Orlando?

Regardless, the good news is the Democrats now have their message. And the Clintons are no longer part of it.
