Liberal Apologists for Slavery

Leftists love their reminders of slavery. They have a fascination with it, because I believe they secretly crave it again.

Hardly a day goes by without some bleeding heart, wretched Progressive bringing up slavery. I bet you most of them have old National Geographic magazines with pictures of naked Africans dog-eared.

Slavery has long been over, and America has paid that debt many times over; yet the discussion continues. And the pace only quickens when the politicians come out of their rat holes.

Enter Leftist Democratic Socialist, Bernie Sanders. As The Hill reports:

“As a nation — I don’t think as a president, but as a nation — we have got to apologize for slavery,” the 2016 Democratic presidential contender told host Joe Madison on Sirius XM’s “The Black Eagle.”

“As a nation we have got to apologize for slavery, and of course the president is the leader of the nation,” he added.

Sanders said that slavery had caused too much suffering to remain unaddressed.

“Obviously nobody in this generation was involved in slavery,” Sanders said.

“But as a nation, slavery is one of the abominations that our country has experienced,” he continued. “There is no excuse — what can we say about it?”

So what nobody alive had anything to do with it, we must still apologize. Slavery is gone in America, is still being practiced in many areas of the world, and America of TODAY must apologize?

Sorry for putting you through that Liberal illogic.

Sanders goes on to give us the death count, as if he’s a historian on this subject.

“It was horrific,” he added. “It killed millions of people who never made it even across the ocean. It destroyed the lives of so many people.”

His comment reminds me of the idiot black Democrat that said, “Enough Africans were killed in the slave trade to color the ocean red!” He then went on to say that more Africans died than there were people on the earth at the time. Facts never matter to Democrats.
