Obama Says We’re Safe: You’d Better RUN

In all my years, I don’t recall a president trying to reassure us that we’d be safe over the holidays.

Ok Barack, I’ll bite: Are we safe AFTER the holidays?

Only a moron would believe we are safe from Obama’s terrorist friends, the very same morons who believe we are safe from Obama’s economy.

As reported by ABC, Obama held a short press conference, where he assured America that all is well:

Flanked by his national security team, President Obama reassured Americans that there was “no specific, credible threat” against the country ahead of the holidays.

“We do not have any specific and credible information about an attack on the homeland,” Obama said today at the National Counterterrorism Center. “That said, we have to be vigilant.”

Even in his assurances, Obama leaves himself wiggle room: “That said, we have to be vigilant.

Really? And here I thought that we had nothing to worry about, I mean with 72 DHS employees on our Terror Watch List, and radical Muslim terror cells in all 50 states, according to the FBI. That God we have the unsecured border and the new “terrorist relocation plan” known as Syrian refugee resettlement. I think I understand what he means by remain vigilant…against DHS.

Are you as soothed as I am by Obama’s words? And you have to love his language, “no specific, credible threat.” Such is the lexicon of Obama, so if an attack occurs, I’m curious as to how he spins this.

“We were attacked by a “non-specific, incredible threat,” and we weren’t prepared for that!”

The article continues,

Obama said security experts are constantly hard at work putting up safeguards to prevent terrorists from entering the country, while at the same time bringing the fight to terrorists plotting overseas.

What safeguards? I’d like Obama to explain exactly how he feels he has safeguarded us? Rescinding “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell?” By overturning the Defense of Marriage Act? By sending delegates to Michael Brown, Jr’s funeral?

Obama continued, urging “resilience” in the wake of the attack in San Bernardino, California, calling it “one of our greatest weapons” in the fight against terrorism. And here I thought our biggest weapon against terrorism was algae.

No matter what Obama says to the American people, we are not stupid. An ABC News/Washington Post poll out Wednesday showed just 22 percent of Americans express confidence in the government’s ability to prevent lone-wolf terrorist attacks. In other words, 22 percent of the people in this country are completely delusional. I’m not sure what percentage of the country is losing faith in baby black Jesus, but at least some of them are waking up.
