Mexico Woes: Trump Doubles Down on Who Will Build That Wall

Trump is the anti-Obama, the antidote to Leftism, and I just upped my dosage! Is anyone else keeping tabs on the campaign promises made by Donald Trump?

Create jobs; check. Save jobs; check. Get rid of government bureaucracy, especially that “boat anchor” called ObamaCare. All that on Day One.

Day Two was even more robust.

Get rid of bad trade deals; check. Engage Corporate America in reviving economy; check. Oh, and…{Trump makes phone call to Secretary of Defense Mattis}…”Bomb the shit out of ISIS!” Check!

Now we arrive at Day Three, and Trump tackled the campaign promise most people thought was all talk. The Wall.

President Trump is a one-man wrecking crew of Leftism. I say to the people who questioned Trump’s conservative values: “What do you think now?”

Trump already gave a few Twitter hints about the wall.

Big day planned on NATIONAL SECURITY tomorrow. Among many other things, we will build the wall!

For all the naysayers, particularly the whining Leftists who said Trump would never be president. You’re WELCOME!

Because of Trump, you and your loved ones will soon be able to sleep a little safer. This wall signifies to the world that America now has a border. To get here, you will do so legally, and respect the sovereignty of our nation, as we respect yours.

For lawbreakers already here, you will be caught, classified and deported.

Trump’s press secretary, Sean Spicer, clarified Monday that repealing President Barack Obama’s two immigration executive actions were not the President Trump’s prime focus.

“First and foremost, the President’s been very, very clear that we need to direct agencies to focus on those who are in this country illegally and have a record — a criminal record or pose a threat to the American people,” Spicer said. “That’s where the priorities are going to be.”

Americans’ security is finally a priority in the White House.

The new head of the Department of Homeland Security, Retired Marine Corps Gen. John Kelly continues work with the Trump transition team. Together they have been meeting with the US Army Corps of Engineers and Interior Department to begin planning a wall along the Mexican border.

So what does Mexico think? Actually, Trump doesn’t have to care. Mexico talked tough prior to the election, however they are rolling over like lap dogs.

While Trump was making his announcements to DHS, Mexican officials, including President Nieto, were at the White House meeting with Trump’s senior staffers. The Mexicans will continue their conversation with America’s new leader later. I speak for most Americans who are no longer worried about The Art of the Deal, when it comes to our president having our best interests in mind.

obama immigration Remember Obama’s immigration policy?

Most of Obama’s policies were so crazy, one would think they were setups for jokes. In fact, border patrol officers said immigration laws were a waste of time under the Obama Administration. Notices for illegals to appear in court were jokingly seen as “notices to disappear” into the sanctuary cities.

With President Trump, the notice you will get is ICE at your door, and a van parked outside that reads, “You’re FIRED!” in Spanish.

Think Mexico will not build this wall?

Mexico currently has a $56 billion trade advantage with the U.S. Further, we send billions to help their economy, and there are estimates of another $19 billion annually sent back home from Mexicans working in America. America provides much to the Mexican economy, and they know it.

Trump is an effective, as he methodical, attacking issues that untangle Americans from bureaucracy and create jobs. And now he has now about to address one of America’s top fears: security. His plan will deport criminals and secure the borders in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and even California.

For those of you with a scorecard regarding Trump’s campaign promises, it looks something like this.

And it’s only Day Three. On the seventh day, he rested!
