Democrats’ New Plan to Appeal to Voters: “Summer Resistance”
The Democrats fight with the arms of a T-Rex.
Their party implodes before their very eyes.
Recall, last March the DNC fired its entire staff. We reported at the time:
The Democrats say that President Trump’s White House is in trouble.
According to NBC News,
Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez has launched a major overhaul of the party’s organization, which has been stung by recent crises — and the DNC has requested resignation letters from all current staffers.
Party staff routinely see major turnover with a new boss and they had been alerted to expect such a move. However, the mass resignation letters will give Perez a chance to completely remake the DNC’s headquarters from scratch. Staffing had already reached unusual lows following a round of post-election layoffs in December.
Immediately after Perez’s selection as party chairman in late February, an adviser to outgoing DNC Interim Chair Donna Brazile, Leah Daughtry, asked every employee to submit a letter of resignation dated April 15, according to multiple sources familiar with the party’s internal workings.
A committee advising Perez on his transition is now interviewing staff and others as part of a top-to-bottom review process to decide not only who will stay and who will go, but how the party should be structured in the future.
Next, Nancy Pelosi is under fire.
The Democrats’ feckless leader has overseen the destruction of Democrats for close to a decade.
Under the leadership of Pelosi and Obama, the Democrats have lost well over 1,000 seats in 8 years. And post-election, Trump is 5-0 against the Democrats, AND the Supreme Court just upheld the president’s travel order.
And what of Obama? This guy continues his endless luxury vacation. I fully expect him to host, “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” soon.
Given the Democrats love of “opposite world,” I see their momentum for “Resistance Summer.”
According to the third DNC chairman in less than a year, Tom Perez:
“There has been an explosion of activism and energy after the election of Donald Trump, and we need to turn this moment into a movement,” DNC Chairman Tom Perez said in a statement.
“As the Democratic Party, it is our role to support this activism and energy, and convert it into electoral wins up-and-down the ballot by making sure state parties have the tools and resources they need to succeed.”
Energy? Enthusiasm? For what?
President Trump is a rock star. The fake news media doesn’t report it, but Americans on the ground feel it.
And they showcase it with their votes.
As the LA Times reported, all the Democrats have are moral victories.
“Democrats are claiming “moral victories” after losing two special congressional elections in heavily Republican districts. Those results from votes in Georgia and South Carolina on Tuesday follow two other moral victories — also known as losses — in battles for House seats in Montana in May and Kansas in April. Many more results like these and the Democratic Party will be out of business.”
One would expect the DNC to learn from failure.
But the problem is the Democrats don’t see losing as a failure. They see it as a setback.
Democrats have gotten used to their insane ideas being the norm. Thus, they continue to fool themselves.
That pompous “moral victory” attitude is the very reason they have lost over 1,000 seats to Republicans but still don’t see a problem.
They believe their fake news polls, and believe in their fake credentialed candidates.
And instead of supporting a man who showcases success with common-sense actions daily, the Democrats fight President Trump.
Watching the Democrats go after President Trump could be compared to Hollywood movies.
Writers create one hit, like Halloween. Then they milk the film for at least 8 more sequels. And with each iteration, the brand gets weaker and weaker.
As you consider that metaphor, think “Russia.”
Democrats expected to win in November, when the deck was stacked against Trump. The world knows the outcome. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, “progressivism,” and the media were all publicly brutalized by Trump and the Tea Party Community.
Resistance Summer will feel like winter in Siberia for the hapless morons who call themselves progressives.
Nevertheless, Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison, the deputy chairman of the DNC, joined Perez in the statement, calling the summer action “the starting point” for the party’s efforts to organize the resistance movement into a larger political force.
Far be it for the Democrats to actually put the blame where it belongs: on their policies and choice of leaders.
