Desperate Democrats Use Sharpton’s Half-Brother to Register Felons to Vote
When you can’t afford a whole Sharpton, a half-Sharpton will do.
Apparently Obama did a number on the he Democratic Party. We learned that Obama redirected money to his organization, which forced Hillary Clinton to save the DNC. And now that Judge Roy Moore remains in play in Alabama after the hatchet job the Democrats tried, they are in dire need of funds.
The problem is that Al Sharpton costs too much. And given Sharpton’s discounted rate, post-Obama, you know the Democrats suffer mightily, financially and otherwise.
The party is forced to use Al Sharpton’s half brother Pastor Kenneth Glasgow.
Pastor Kenneth Glasgow has been at the forefront of the statewide effort, which has successfully registered thousands of felons across Alabama in recent weeks.
Glasgow has been aided in his efforts here by other Soros-financed groups, including the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
“In the last month, I think we registered at least five- to ten-thousand people all over the state,” Glasgow, president of Dothan’s The Ordinary People Society (TOPS) advocacy group, said Monday. “I’ve got people all over the state registering people with my TOPS branches in Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, Montgomery, Enterprise, Dothan, Abbeville, Geneva, Gordon, Bessemer, we have a lot.”
It’s a shame when you’ve maxed out all the dead people and now have to resort to registering felons.
Would it surprise you to learn that “Pastor” Kenneth Glasgow is a felon himself?
According to Village Voice, Glasgow is described as “an ex-con and recovering crackhead turned street preacher.”
A letter that was sent to Al Sharpton by Glasgow during his time in prison reveals his drug addiction:
“You know I’ve done almost 10 years straight,” Glasgow said in a letter to Sharpton, who is serving out a 90-day sentence at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn for trespassing on a Navy firing range on the Puerto Rican island of Vieques.
“I’ve been through so much you wouldn’t believe it. I’ve been one of the biggest drug dealers. . . . I became the thing I despise the most, [an] addict, begging momma and grandma for 2 and 3 dollars to get a hit.”
How fitting! The party who had made a career out of being criminals themselves chose a criminal to register criminals to vote.
Desperate Democrats
This fraud represents a last ditch effort for Democrats to win the election in Alabama. Without illegals, dead people, and felons, the Democrats can’t win most elections.
“Last May, Alabama’s Gov. Kay Ivey signed a law that defined a clause in the State constitution denying the right to vote to anyone who has committed a crime that demonstrates “moral turpitude.”
The new law generated a list of about 50 crimes that fit under the “moral turpitude” banner, including murder, kidnapping, and sexual abuse.
Besides Jones’ direct role advocating for the votes-for-criminals scheme, Jones is also listed by the Soros-funded organization, Brennan Center for Justice.
The Brennan Center has been the recipient of numerous grants from Soros’s Open Society Foundations totaling over $7,466,000 from 2000 to 2010 alone.
Jones is a “supporter” of the voting drive for felons alongside a grouping of radical Soros-financed organizations. Jones is himself tied to some of those other Soros-funded groups.

All those Leftist fingerprints, but Glasgow claims that the election isn’t about Republican versus Democrat.
“This is not a Democratic or Republican issue; it’s a democracy issue with a lower case d,” Danielle Lang, a Campaign Legal Center lawyer, stated after spending a week earlier this month in Alabama holding educational clinics on the matter.
So, why are all the felons being registered as Democrats and not Republicans?
Did Glasgow and other Soros-funded organizations ask these felons which candidate they thought was best? Are the felon’s opinions taken into account? Probably not.
But the felon vote isn’t all that Jones gets from the Democrats. He also received thousands of dollars from Obama’s campaign officials. These funds have arrived in the nick of time!
Bully Pulpit Interactive, a Washington, D.C. based consulting firm founded by former Obama campaign official Andrew Bleeker, provided more than $800,000 in online advertising services to Highway 31, an independent expenditure committee based in Birmingham, Alabama that supports the campaign of Doug Jones.
And a subsidiary of GMMB Consulting, which was founded by former Obama campaign official Jim Margolis, has provided more than $309,000 in media buy services to the campaign as well.
The moral of the story here? Democrats cheat. Always have and always will.
