Leftists’ Latest Proclamation: God Sides with Democrats
The left has poked fun at evangelical Christians and their principles for decades. However, those lying leches conveniently invoke God to further their own lame political agendas.
Perhaps no one better uses God to manipulate than Nancy Pelosi.
Recently on Pelosi’s weekly briefing on Capital Hill she said that God is with the Democrats when it comes to figuring out what to do with DACA recipients.
“We are not going to turn this country into a reign of terror of domestic enforcement, and have the DACA. The Dreamers pay that price. But I’m optimistic. I always have been. God is with us on this. Our country is great. We know their greatness springs from the vitality that newcomers bring to our country. Eighty percent at least of the American people support the Dreamers. “
You can’t help but chuckle when listening to anything Nancy has to say. The woman can’t even seem remember if it’s Bush or Trump that’s currently president.
Nonetheless the left continues to use her to do their bidding. Perhaps what’s most amusing is how Nancy constantly uses the name of God in the hopes of convincing people leftist policies are what’s best for humanity.
Recall back in June when president Trump withdrew the Untied States from the corrupt Paris Climate Accord Nancy said it was dishonoring to God.
“The bible tells us to minister to the needs of God’s creation as an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us and that is just what we’re doing by walking away from this accord.
The question I have for Donald Trump as a mother and a grandmother of five — and a grandmother of nine — how is he ever going to explain to his grandchildren what he did to the air they breathe?”
Some recognized the ridiculousness of Nancy’s commentary.
Later, reporters asked her how she could support slaughtering innocent children in the womb? Doesn’t that go against what the Bible teaches?
“Obviously you want to get into that discussion… But it is my view that it is up to a woman to have her own right to choose the size and timing of her family. God gives us the free will and holds us responsible and accountable for our actions.”
Talk about a tap dance! Killing babies for Pelosi and other feminists is simply God’s permission to women for family planning.
Let’s look at more examples of Leftists bringing God to the fore.
Recall when Hillary Clinton emerged from her rat hole, post butt-kicking. She had lost the election, and announce she had written a book: What Happened? Well, Clinton got God involved…indirectly.
Remember, Clinton’s long-time friend and pastor Bill Shillady wrote a companion book to hers. We reported on Clinton’s “divine intervention” at the time:

The Atlantic reports:
“Two books are slated to come out of Clinton world early this fall: What Happened, Clinton’s personal account of the election, and Strong for a Moment Like This, Shillady’s book of devotionals.
Shillady, who runs the United Methodist City Society in New York, wrote the book at Clinton’s suggestion; he said his is the only book for which Clinton has agreed to write a foreword. Clinton and her staffers read and approved the copy ahead of time.
“Given her depth of knowledge of the Bible and her experience of caring for people and loving people, she’d make a great pastor,” Shillady said.
Now, as Clinton works to rehabilitate her public image and figure out the next steps after her brutal November loss, religion is taking a central role.
After long months of struggling to persuade Americans that she is trustworthy, authentic, and fundamentally moral, Clinton is lifting up an intimate, closely guarded part of herself. There are no more voters left to lose. In sharing her faith, perhaps Clinton sees something left to win, whether political or personal.”
Ironically, the book was never released due to plagiarism.
How funny is it that Clinton tries to get holy, and it backfired.
CNN reported:
“CNN reported that the book that was written by Hillary Clinton’s pastor about her faith, “Strong for a Moment Like This: The Daily Devotions of Hillary Rodham Clinton,” has been pulled by Abingdon Press due to plagiarism.
In August, CNN found that Shillady had copied the writings of another pastor, the Rev. Matthew Deuel, in the reportedly compassionate and godly message he sent Hillary following her election defeat.
Shillady told CNN, “I deeply regret my actions.”
“I was wrong and there is no excuse for it,” Shillady said. “I apologize to those whose work I mistakenly did not attribute. I apologize to those I have disappointed, including Secretary Hillary Clinton, Abingdon Press, and all the writers and others who have helped me publish and promote this book. I ask for everyone’s forgiveness.”
One’s walk with God doesn’t need advertising. Biblical values are demonstrated in actions, not puffing up one’s resume.
More recently Jerry Brown and Pelosi implied that President Trump was “Godless”. Because the president doesn’t buy into the farce of manmade global climate change, the Left say he’s soulless.
I don’t think Israel believes that. Nor do I think most Americans believe it.
Donald Trump may have gotten snickers at Liberty University when he said, “Two Corinthians”. But that man has done more for Judeo-Christianity than the Pope.
