Judge Reprimands Mueller for Witch Hunt But It’s Worse Than You Think

The wheels are coming off Mueller’s wagon.

And it’s long overdue.

As CNN reported,

A federal judge expressed deep skepticism Friday in the bank fraud case brought by special counsel Robert Mueller’s office against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, at one point saying he believes that Mueller’s motivation is to oust President Donald Trump from office.

Although Mueller’s authority has been tested in court before, Friday’s hearing was notable for District Judge T.S. Ellis’ decision to wade into the divisive political debate around the investigation.

“You don’t really care about Mr. Manafort’s bank fraud,” Ellis said to prosecutor Michael Dreeben, at times losing his temper. Ellis said prosecutors were interested in Manafort because of his potential to provide material that would lead to Trump’s “prosecution or impeachment,” Ellis said.

“That’s what you’re really interested in,” said Ellis, who was appointed by President Ronald Reagan.

Ellis repeated his suspicion several times in the hour-long court hearing. He said he’ll make a decision at a later date about whether Manafort’s case can go forward.

I don’t know what Manafort did. But I do know that going after Donald Trump wasn’t the way to get to Manafort.

Imagine how that could impact any American.

Aside from the obvious “big net” approach to the Trump witch hunt, what bothers me most about this is how obvious the Left have been in their gaming the system. These clowns would never allow Republicans to go on such fruitless fishing expeditions, even to get crooked Hillary.

But this judge has pulled the cloak off this nonsense. Even CNN was forced to report on the story, and I will bet MSNBC was as well.

Finally, someone has informed Mueller that the emperor has no clothes. Now what?

There must be fallout.

First, even the president referenced that CNN reported what the judge said.

Addressing members of the National Rifle Association on Friday in Dallas, however, Trump read from a CNN report he apparently loved.

As the crowd booed at his mention of CNN’s name, Trump said, “I think NBC may be more distorted and worse. No, but on CNN, they have a headline: ‘Judge in Manafort case says Mueller’s aim is to hurt Trump.’ Do you believe that? This is what we’re up [against]. It’s called the witch hunt. So, I just said, ‘Give me that article. I want to read it.’ Just happened a few minutes before I walked onstage.”

The article was titled: When pigs fly.

Yes, CNN may be headed for redemption, but that remains to be seen. Until that pig flies, what will befall the Left?

Mueller has already lost General Mike Flynn. And in fact, Flynn is likely considering his many options, none of which look good for Democrats.

Remember when Mueller continued the ruse by indicting 13 Russians? That opened the door for Flynn.

Last Friday, the media was in a frenzy over the indictment of 13 Russians and a couple Russian entities by special counsel Robert Mueller. As pundits debated the significance of the indictment, an order was filed by Judge Emmet Sullivan in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. The order itself was hardly noteworthy, even on a slow news day. Sullivan simply ordered prosecutors to comply with their obligations of disclosure of exculpatory evidence to the defense.

What was notable is that the prosecutors were members of the special counsel’s office and the defendant was their star cooperating witness, former national security adviser Michael Flynn. The order itself deals with the obligation of disclosure under Brady v. Maryland. Prosecutors must disclose favorable or exculpatory evidence to the defense. That might make for interesting reading by Flynn, given new disclosures that federal investigators doubted his guilt before the appointment of Mueller as special counsel.

As it turns out, Flynn wasn’t guilty. So Mueller dropped the charges.

If you Google Michael Flynn these days, the last thing you get is Flynn selling his home to pay his legal bills. I suggest that the salad days are over, as the Flynn family shall feast on the carcasses of Leftists.

But there is much more potential fallout.

Now that a judge has called foul on this farce, I expect public sentiment to turn against Mueller and the Democrats. And let’s face it, Mueller is the spoke keeping the hubs aligned. The Clintons, the Podestas, most of the FBI and even Obama are little more than swamp spokes on this crooked wheel of misfortune.

I’m anxious to see the news cycle going forward, particularly if Manafort gets his case dismissed. The proverbial sh*t will hit the fan for the Democrats, not that it already hasn’t.

No longer will these Leftist scoundrels hide behind their dutiful swamp rat. And what if the IG investigation into The Clinton Foundation yields what I think it will?

Sit back and relax, Conservatives. 2018 will be better than 2016 and 2017, as if we even dreamed that possible.
