White House SUSPENDS Jim Acosta of CNN

After two years of abusive and disrespectful behavior, CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent Jim press pass has been suspended.

Like with the firing of former AG Jeff Sessions yesterday, most of America wonders what took so long.

The suspension comes after Acosta assaulted a female White House staffer on Wednesday and engaged in a contentious back-and-forth with President Trump.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders broke the news. She explained in a tweet that the suspension of his press credentials stemmed from his “placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern”.

Further, Sanders called the behavior “absolutely unacceptable.”

This incident transpired earlier Wednesday during a news conference at the White House. Acosta got into a heated debate with Trump about the migrant caravan as the president defended his characterization of the migrant caravan as an “invasion.”

Trump told Acosta to let him do his job.

“Honestly, I think you should let me run the country and you run CNN, and if you did it well your ratings would be much better,” Trump told Acosta.

Acosta tried to ask the president another question before a female White House aide walked over to him.

The president warned, “That’s enough!”

But Acosta continued talk, prompting an intern to take the microphone from his hand. However, Acosta wouldn’t give it up and placed his hand on the the woman.

Acosta whined like a baby, tweeting:

Acosta tweeted: “I’ve just been denied entrance to the WH. Secret Service just informed me I cannot enter the WH grounds for my 8pm hit.”

He then tweeted a video of him being denied entrance by Secret Service:

As I indicated earlier, it’s about time Acosta be punished. This should have been done a long time ago.

He is no journalist, but a grandstander who has no interest in getting to the truth. Acosta’s reports are meant to raise the profile of Acosta, and “get back” at the president for branding him and CNN “fake news”.

Clearly Acosta performs to a single agenda during pressers. Frankly, his act grows tiresome.

I suspect many Americans agree with me, that President Trump should have had Acosta removed physically from the White House. Moreover, he should permanently bar media from the White House who refuse to report the news fairly.

If social media can ban people indiscriminately in an effort to protect from “fake news,” then certainly the president should be able to the same.

I’d like to see how the media reacts over the next two years with far less access to the president.
