Is Obama Going to Endorse Elizabeth Warren?

Obama, Warren, #TeamKJ, #KevinJackson

If Obama endorsed somebody else, how would Biden spin it? Talk about a potential slap in the face to Creepy Joe Biden if that happened.

But some speculate that Obama flirts with the idea of endorsing Elizabeth Warren. Seriously?

As The Hill wrote:

Sen. Elizabeth Warren has spent her presidential campaign railing against the donor class, making it known she doesn’t want their help.

She has publicly bashed millionaires, has sworn off high-dollar fundraisers and has refused large checks from Democratic bundlers.

But behind the scenes in recent months, former President Obama has gone to bat for Warren (D-Mass.) when speaking to donors reluctant to support her given her knocks on Wall Street and the wealthy.

And if Warren becomes the nominee, Obama has said they must throw the entirety of their support behind her.

The biggest capitalist in decades, Barack Obama supports a socialist?

The man who just built a multi-million dollar house on Martha’s Vineyard, signed a mega-million dollar book deal, and a gargantuan TV deal with NetFlix would stand behind a raving socialist?

Remember when Obama and Warren weren’t pals? The two were said to have disagreements on economic issues.

Amid the financial crisis, Warren had become an unlikely star of the left with unambiguous moral outrage and an ability to explain complex financial topics in ways that made them fodder for dinner-table conversation. Improbably, she had turned a largely powerless congressional panel monitoring the bank bailout into a national bully pulpit of populist fury. Her target was not just the big banks but the new Democratic administration, which she suggested had been co-opted by them.

In June of 2010, the two eventually plotted the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to be part of the Dodd-Frank financial reform bill. Warren wanted to run this unelected power brokers, or she would be burdensome to Treasury.

Politico continues,

“I took it as a message; I think she meant it as one,” Axelrod says. Warren sent the signal that she could either be inside the tent pissing out or outside pissing in, Axelrod says, quoting a vivid Lyndon B. Johnson quip.

Obama was equally straightforward. “Tell her to keep her mouth shut,” he said, according to Axelrod. “She may well be the choice, but we can’t surface that now.”

Thankfully, President Trump imploded this Nazi-like organization.

By 2018 Interim Director of the CFPB had taken the teeth out of the organization. He recognized the set up.

Warren and team got funding through the Federal Reserve, so Congress wouldn’t control it through its purse strings. And the organization was run by a single director, Obama appointee Richard Cordray. Interestingly, the person in this role could not be dismissed without cause, even by the president. Later, federal appeals court reviewed this matter.

But the real irony of this group is the people who created the mortgage crisis attempted to set up an agency whereby they controlled all the financial organizations who participated. The fox indeed guarded the hen house.

So much for the history lesson and back to Warren:

The article continues,

The former president has stopped short of an endorsement of Warren in these conversations and has emphasized that he is not endorsing in the Democratic primary race.

{Chuckle}. If I were Obama, I’d do and say the same thing. Do you believe Obama really wants to endorse any of these clowns? Obviously, outside of needing a Democrat to win to save his “legacy”, Obama hopes one of these candidates will be able to keep people from learning about the attempted coup.

Too late.

I love what Obama says next of Warren:

But he also has vouched for her credentials, making it clear in these private sessions that he deems her a capable candidate and potential president, sources say.

“He’s asked all of the candidates who have sought his advice three questions: Is your family behind you? Why you? And why now? She checked the box for all,” said one longtime Obama ally.

“I think he feels licensed to give an opinion on her because he’s ‘hired’ her,” the longtime Obama ally said.

She checked all the boxes? That sounds like how Obama picked Michelle as his wife:

  • Black {check}
  • Woman {check}
  • Black nationalist {check}
  • Hates America {check}

Barack Obama is in a tough spot. Now people see him for whom he is and was. A failed president.

President Trump exposed all the holes in the Obama administration, and Trump’s biggest reveals about Obama, et al will occur in 2020. Those reveals will crush the Obama legacy, a legacy already being exposed. I don’t think Leftists want a serious poll of Obama’s popularity these days.

In the end, an Obama endorsement is meaningless. But I love watching the media pretend that anybody really cares.
